After a royal reception for NATO members at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday evening, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation News & Politics posted a video online in which it appears that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is making fun of President Donald Trump to President Emmanuel Macron of France, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Princess Anne.
In the brief clip, Johnson asks, “Is that while you were late?” with a smile on face, to which Trudeau responds, “He was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top,” followed by the statement, “You just watch his team’s jaws drop to the floor,” quickly went viral, especially after Princess Anne was identified as the woman in the video.
None of the world leaders featured in the video seem to be aware that they were being recorded, and within hours, the 25-second clip accrued over 4 million views online. While it’s unclear to viewers how Princess Anne responded to Trudeau’s comments, as her face is completely blocked while he’s speaking, she appeared to get animated by the topic.
Princess Anne was a top trend on Twitter Tuesday night, as before being identified by her signature hairstyle in the video with Trudeau, another video of the royal daughter getting scolded by her mother was already making its rounds.
While Trump and First Lady Melania Trump walked into Buckingham Palace’s Music Room, they shook hands with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and NATO Secretary Jens Stoltenberg. While the Queen pauses briefly to stare at her daughter waiting by the door, Princess Anne shrugs in response as if to say, “Oops! Guess you’ll have to proceed without me".

Thank you for the clarification however, my comment was directed at Trudeau and company talking about our President being 40 minutes late because he was with the press.
Yep. Shame on the media for misrepresenting Princess Anne’s comment and the Queen’s behavior.

Of course that makes sense. It was completely innocent.
No. That was the Queen's sister, Princess Margaret, a drinker. Anne is the Queen's daughter and is much admired by the Brits for her charity works. She has been married twice, but both marriages have been long and scandal-free. She is still married to her second husband, and is an involved grandmother to the children of her son and daughter.
The Queen's mother was full-blood British, born in Scotland. Prince Philip is Greek and Danish. Prince Charles is perhaps one-eighth German. Both Diana and Kate have long British ancestry, some of it royal, so William's children are only a squillionth German. Time to retire that old chestnut that has been a slur since Queen Victoria's time.
I'm one of her fans. Her sense of decorum and tireless, selfless duty, combined with her subtle sense of humor and amazing stamina, are quite admirable.
Don't say that to a Greek. "Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg" isn't exactly a name like Papadopoulos. The family was Danish royalty for a much longer period, but most of Phil's ancestry was German. Some English, too, since both Phil and Liz are descended from Queen Victoria. Hence the "inbred."
Now she's 69 years old. We all grow older.

It’s not aging that is the issue. It’s her determination not to have her hair and makeup done, when she could certainly well afford it. She looks like a fishwife with that dull ratty hair and receding hairline; she does her lips narrowly like she has to make a single lipstick last for several years, and has stopped grooming her eyebrows and lashes. Granted, it’s her choice; but she is a public figure and it wouldn’t kill her to make a little effort, since her clothing is usually very smart. Even her mother at age 93 wears foundation, powder, blusher, a little eyeliner and well-applied lipstick.

So this is a completely invented article that imagines that Princess Anne might have possibly mocked Trump in ways that the only exist in the writer's head.
I don't like Trudeu, but even he said nothing offensive. This whole brouhaha is a media invention.
