It’s not aging that is the issue. It’s her determination not to have her hair and makeup done, when she could certainly well afford it. She looks like a fishwife with that dull ratty hair and receding hairline; she does her lips narrowly like she has to make a single lipstick last for several years, and has stopped grooming her eyebrows and lashes. Granted, it’s her choice; but she is a public figure and it wouldn’t kill her to make a little effort, since her clothing is usually very smart. Even her mother at age 93 wears foundation, powder, blusher, a little eyeliner and well-applied lipstick.
