Guarding the MOST POWERFUL man on the globe

Their jackets say “Police.”
A professional wouldn't have the barrels pointed at the fans on the other side of the stadium. They should be on pintle mounts with the stock on the floor, aimed at space.
As they currently are, the bipods are useless. If they need to aim downward that panel or whatever it is gets in the way.
Not secret service.
Local law enforcement.
‘Course not. One glance and you’re on KP for a year!
Does that rifle have a silencer?
LOL
Not pictured (or censored) is the phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.
Yes, I assume it is. One person said he saw a “can” and I assumed he was talking about a suppressor. Wonder what the reasoning was behind bringing a silencer? I’m in grade school and I know these guys are operating at the PhD level, but I need some help here!
How do you know that? One trait of a good operator is outstanding Peripheral vision!
Saw Bush at the College World Series and it didn’t take too long but once the president was there, no more people were allowed into the stadium.
Plus those are the ones you can see, they put them throughout the crowd as well.
I have no personal experience but I would guess that they wouldn’t want to spook the crowd with the sounds of gunfire.
People in a crowd can turn lemming. A lot could get hurt.
Nice seat!
I have a friend who worked security for the Lions at Ford Field in Detroit. Every game day, the Detroit Police Dept. would deploy their long range rifle trained swat team to the stadium about 3 hours before game time and they would set up their surveillance positions in the upper levels throughout the stadium........
Looks to me like 2 bolt guns, one in middle appears suppressed, and on the far right possibly some variant (speculation on my part) of Heckler and Koch G28 semi-automatic rifle (designated the M110A1 in Army use features a 16.5-inch barrel)...
The M110A1 in Army use also features a Schmidt & Bender 3-20×50 PMII Ultra Short telescopic sight and a Harris bipod...But not sure about SS using it; can’t really see enough detail...My understanding is agents have some latitude in choice of weapons used...
In competent hands, like SS marksmen, all will “git ‘er done”...
They're not Secret Service, they're local LEO's.........And for what it's worth, they're at every game in every stadium............
If they are secret service, why does it say police on the shirts?
Some heads should roll over this. Total security breach.
And I did see “Police” on their vest so may indeed be city LEOs...Then again, SS might be blending in and not advertising who they are...Purely a guess...OPSEC?
