I'll have to dig, but I was under the impression that the NYPD served the initial warrant for Weiner's electronic devices since it started as a State case. They seized at least one laptop from their apartment, and then he turned in other devices to the Granite lawyers who 'held' them for a while and then passed them to the FBI once they asked for them.

The NYPD and State authorities opened the initial investigation, then the US Attorney's Office and FBI took over the case when it went across state lines. At least that's my take.

I can't find a source at the moment for the NYPD search warrant, but here's some background from when the case first broke.

The president responded to the fake impeachment party's demands (subpoenas) succinctly, by pointing out that there IS no impeachment investigation until ....oh....I don't know....those who represent the will of the people in Congress....ya know....VOTE on it? Here is the article writer's response:

I'm in Alameda County and my neighborhood is one of the areas that may/will be affected. There has never been danger of wildfire where I am. I went to a store last night and it was PACKED with people buying water and dry goods like a hurricane was coming.

Now, I fully recognize that weather can and will change BUT there isn't so much as a breeze right now and they're talking about shutting our power off in an hour or so.

I agree that something else is going on but no one seems to care. When I tell them there's something fishy about this their eyes glaze over and just look at me and ask “why would they”. I'm really curious how this will play out.
