Just watched part of the interview with the CEO of Dick's Sporting Goods on CBS Sunday Morning. What a loser this guy is; and a liar to boot. He actually claimed (in essence) 'what kind of society refuses to do background checks'....
He also claimed that the straw that broke the camel's back was the shooter in FLA bought a shotgun from Dick's; he said 'that was it! even though he didn't use that gun in the shooting'. This guy is a complete fraud
I will never buy a thing there ever again!

Are used to spend $2000 or more a year at Dick’s sporting goods. I spent money on behalf of my family and on a youth sports organization. Ever since dicks came out with their anti-gun position, I haven’t spent a dime at that store. I suggest everybody else do the same.
I avoid them like the Plague
Many years ago, I made the mistake of wandering into a Dick’s once. I asked ‘em where the discount rack was because I was looking for a five dollar or less pair of sweatpants. They showed me some pseudo-designer frou-frou decidedly north of $65-$75 bucks. I was out of there like a shot.
Sometimes you just have to read the label.
Amen!! When they first started with their anti-2nd Amndt nonsense I went to local location where I made several purchases. I went up the manager and gave her my CC and bonus cards back and told her that I was never going to buy another thing at Dick’s ever again because they had no respect for our rights. The look of butt-hurt on her face was priceless!!

We stopped patronizing the Dick. Won’t ever set foot in there again!
Stopped shopping there immediately after they decide gun bans were a good idea.
Went there a month ago to get a hunting license. “Do you guys get any money from selling hunting licenses “I asked the cashier. “ no...we do it to get people into the store” he said. “Fine...I’d like a hunting license please”
At the register was a huge display of Yeti coolers. They were doubling down on stupid.
Business-wise, I don’t see Dicks around past the end of 2020. They are probably advertising to be bought and merged into some other sports shop. Someone like ‘Champs’ or ‘Eastbay’. Right now, it’s greatly undervalued and I could probably buy them for 60-percent of what they were worth in 2014.
I've never spent one thin dime there. Something about being around Dick's never inspired me.
Never been in the place; won’t ever go there.
His final line in the presentation
“If it saves just one life it’s worth it”
I shouted out “No it’s not”.
I window shop there...maybe try a few things on...then buy someplace else.
I feel no guilt at all...
