I shouted out “No it’s not”.
It’s unfortunate that there is no way to figure out how many lives may be saved annually by people weilding “assault rifles.”
He would save more lives closing off the Parking Lot and making his Customers walk to his Store..
I say this same thing on the topic of immigration.
If we stop illegal immigration and it saves just one American life it’s worth it.

My rallying cry for wider use of Death Penalty!
Guns protect and save lives (and gave us our freedom from King George).
Gun ownership is, thus, "worth it".
(Gun ownership is also a constitutionally protected right, so it's doubly worth it.)
