We are all ageing its a fundamental fact of life. But the majority of us are totally unprepared for what lies ahead.
Yes, we may have pensions in place and follow the basics of a healthy lifestyle but can you truly say that you have thought deeply about all aspects of your later life?

Medical and public health advances, from sanitation to statins, all continue to extend our lives, and yet society and, indeed, we as individuals havent caught up with that change.
Respected medical journal The Lancet has, staggeringly, predicted more than half of British babies born in 2007 will live to the age of 103. Its entirely possible that many of todays 50-year-olds will only be halfway through their lives.

If a “journalist” is writing an article about a book (as the article title implies), ought not a reference to the book be prominent in the first few paragraphs??
They calculate it according to an age formula. My heart rate in the orange zone is typically in the 140 bpm range - but I often reach the 150s which puts me in the red zone on their monitor. However, most of the other participants are younger than I am and I see their heart rates all the time in the 150s, and they're in the orange zone.

VERY. But the program is never the same two days in a row and the hour flies by - youre constantly changing up, never more than 90 seconds staying on the same exercise, its so fast and fun.
