FULL TITLE: How the Pill transforms your personality as revealed in a landmark book by a top psychologist: It changes who you fall for, It dictates the clothes you wear AND it lowers your libido (but the good news? You are less likely to divorce)

After more than a decade on the Pill, our family complete, my husband and I decided on a more permanent way to prevent pregnancy.

He took the lead by having a vasectomy, and I ditched the Pill. But a couple of months later, I realised that I felt . . . different. I didn’t notice it while it was happening, but one day I realised my life had recently felt brighter and more interesting. Like I had walked out of a two-dimensional, black-and-white movie into a full-colour, three-dimensional, meaning-filled reality. I started exercising again and cooking — things I used to enjoy but had kind of forgotten about.

I had more energy. I noticed attractive men. I cared about how I looked in a way I hadn’t in a long time. I just felt . . . alive. Fully, vividly, awesomely, humanly alive. This didn’t happen all at once.

One day I realised I felt awake from an almost ten-year nap I hadn’t known I was taking. This, alongside some revelations uncovered at a couple of academic conferences — held by the society for Social and Personality Psychology and the Human Behavior and Evolution society — led me to investigate further.

She is basically just saying there are side effects. Her line "it's like dropping an atomic bomb on your house to blow out a candle" can probably be applied to all drugs. However, you really don't often hear much about side effects of The Pill. I found it interesting how non-pill takers experience different hormonal reactions that pill takes.

Makes me wonder what the trannies are doing to themselves with all their excessive hormone-taking.

SAME THING HAPPENS WHEN YOU QUIT SMOKING POT (if you overdo it)

You wake up 3 months later and realize you’ve been walking around in a cloud that is suddenly lifted.

All pills alter us both physically and mentally. Otherwise we wouldn’t bother taking them.

During the fertile periods, the chemical balances in a woman’s body change. Those changes cause a change mentally as well. If it were not true, then why do they market male fertility drugs that “make you ‘feel’ like ...” ?

Suppressing the fertile periods suppresses the mental change as well.

If the pharma industry admitted that, the birth control market would drop.

Take a look at their suicide rate, that should explain it all

***Makes me wonder what the trannies are doing to themselves with all their excessive hormone-taking.***

Note that they are taking excessive hormones of the opposite biological sex that their DNA says they are, further screwing with their bodies and brains natural inclinations.

What nonsense! This did nothing to prevent her becoming pregnant. It only prevented her husband from impregnating her.

If the couple wanted to prevent her from becoming pregnant, she should have been sterilized. Neutering her husband can only reinforce the effectiveness of her sterilization, not ensure it.

If a couple wants to go this route, the sequence is; wife sterilization first, husband vasectomy second. Anything else is a scam.

Q: What did the Grateful Dead fan say when he quit smoking pot?

The pill transformed my personality in a positive way. Probably had to do with managing hormones. Before the pill I had one good week per month. During the pill, my moods were consistently good.

Yup. My father was taking hormone treatments for prostate cancer. The psychological and physical changes were startling.

As an early PRO-LIFER, I agree with premise pill changes one.

However, this article is fluff, superficial subjective and a fantasy. Someone can write a better book on this issue.

How could her libido go lower than none?

Certainly. Trust is essential to a successful marriage.

But this couple’s stated goal was to prevent the wife’s pregnancy. As long as the wife remains fertile she can become pregnant. Trust has nothing to do with that. It is a biological fact.

Rather than trust, we should be considering another essential element of successful marriage, commitment. That’s commitment to each other and to their stated goal.

In this case, commitment would have required mutual sacrifice. That sacrifice was mutual sterilization. Without mutual sterilization the wife could still become pregnant.

The husband sacrificed by undergoing a vasectomy. He demonstrated commitment to his wife and their mutual goal.

Conversely, the wife took measures to restore herself to full fertility and desirability. She demonstrated no commitment to her husband or their mutual goal, only to herself.

Neutering the husband only reduced the chances of the wife’s pregnancy. And the wife’s refusal to even mention sterilization indicates she was not committed to her husband or their mutual goal of no pregnancy.

This wife wanted to remain fully fertile while ensuring her husband could neither impregnate her nor anyone else. That is not commitment. And there is no trust in this arrangement, only manipulation.
