After more than a decade on the Pill, our family complete, my husband and I decided on a more permanent way to prevent pregnancy...He took the lead by having a vasectomy, and I ditched the Pill. What nonsense! This did nothing to prevent her becoming pregnant. It only prevented her husband from impregnating her.
If the couple wanted to prevent her from becoming pregnant, she should have been sterilized. Neutering her husband can only reinforce the effectiveness of her sterilization, not ensure it.
If a couple wants to go this route, the sequence is; wife sterilization first, husband vasectomy second. Anything else is a scam.

The real scam is getting married without any desire for kids.
If a couple really does want to “go that route” they have no business being a couple.

what bullshit...truth is that vasectomy is a lot less invasive and cheaper to do. who cares how they decide to stop having children. if they are a couple having monogamous sex then its effective. The only way that both need to be fixed is if someone is cheating.
