I posted an article last night about Trump ending "catch and release" at the border and now it and all of the replies have been deleted.

Per copyright complaint, USA Today and a long list of other Gannett publications can not be excerpted. FR is allowed to reference only the title and link to the article. There are quite a few newspapers in west Texas and southeast New Mexico that belong to Gannett and our posting is hampered by that restriction.
Don’t take that crap, just keep posting it and in Braking Nudes until you can’t post no more...
Same reason the fundraisers are on life support. Overbearing mods are killing this place.

It would be nice if the mechanism for deleting a thread had the admin giving a reason, which would be sent to the thread originator via FR private message.
That way, we would have fewer threads like this.
