Comedy specials have become a bugle call for herds of people looking for reasons to be offended and to demand the end of a celebritys career. They have also become a safe space for people who like to laugh at politically incorrect humor and provide relief from a life where saying what you really mean is incredibly risky. Bill Burrs Paper Tiger is no exception, delivering a swift kick straight into the hornets nest of strident feminism.
In his hour-long Netflix special, Burr is undaunted by the recent backlash against all forms of comedy by people who seem affronted by anything that hits the ever-growing list of off-limits joke topics. Like Dave Chappelle in Sticks & Stones just days earlier, Burr leans hard into an outright attack against those who have called to have him cancelled. For Chapelle, its the Alphabet people of nonheterosexual identities; for Burr, its modern feminism.

Bill Burr is a voice of my generation.
On his temper: Wow. Where did that come from? You went from 0 to about 200 in a split second! Baby, I was at about 75 when we walked in here.
Feminists are anti-women. They oppose marriage, motherhood and child rearing. Real women value those things.
Liberals have no sense of humor. They live to be offended. They look for things to trigger them.
The PC culture has infested comedy.
I have not heard any Burr routines. I tried watching “Sticks and Stones”. I didn’t like it. Turned it off.
But I do appreciate Chappelle pissing off the liberals.
Chappelle’s show is hard to get into with all the language and little comedy... my wife and friends were not into it so i will watch it later as a social commentary.
One comment I read somewhere described Chappelle’s show as being an angry old man routine.
Bingo.
He was not funny and fresh as he was some 10-15 years ago.
Islam is Right about Women!:
If you say:
Islam Is RIGHT About Women!
Then you are guilty of hate speech. On the other hand, if you say
Islam Is WRONG About Women!
Then you are guilty of hate speech.
Go figure!
Thanks to eyeamok for posting this Drive the Liberal Women even crazier!

How about: “Islam is right about dogs”?
Talking about confusion, that would bring a hellish wrath of indignation upon Islam.

Great post.
“and little comedy”
I don’t know, it must be a generational thing because that was the funniest show me and all my friends had ever watched. Just watch the “Rick James” episode, and if you are not hooked, don’t bother, because that is the litmus test.
i am talking about his sticks and stones concert...
chappelle’s comedy is superb and i enjoy it... this show was more social commentary with a lot of mother truckers thrown in.
and i have a helluva sense of humor...
the blind racist is his high water mark...
For those who have not seen it, you must dial up on Netflix the Bill Burr special.
Yes, there’s an endless flow of cuss words. Be warned if you’re offended by such.
He’s a liberal, but he skewers modern PC like few can.
And it is hilarious. Hilarious I tell ya...
Both these guys would be better if they stopped swearing.
I agree that the cussing and swearing is a bit much - it’s not really needed. But - they sure make you think.
Very few comedians were able to pull it off. Those that did put enough substance into their observation to make it relevant. Most try to make the cursing and swearing relevant and their observations unsubstantial..

Jim Gaffigan comes to mind. Clean guy...
I like Gaffigan. Actually I saw Jim Breuer's comedy special (SNL Goat Boy) recently and was pleasantly surprised that he kept it clean.
Yeah - so do I. He's the only one I can watch with my wife. She wouldn't stand for Chapelle or Burr.
About half-funny, well, all funny, but based on half-truths, at best. The polls were cooked by the Partisan Media Shills, who continue to peddle the collusion, corruption, impeachment BS.
