I’m so glad our President is one step ahead of the DS.
Sometimes I am totally lost and can’t understand why he does what he does, why doesn’t he just release everything and get it over with?
I then have to step back and realize he is playing the long game and it will be much better in the end.

While true, announcing does not start an election.
The 2020 election season begins the day nominees are formally approved by their parties.
Another point to consider: the transcript of the phone call clearly shows Trump is interested in information about Crowdstrike and their role in the 2016 election. Biden claimed in 2018 he got the Ukrainian prosecutor fired in 2016 with the threat of withholding one billion dollars in loan guarantees, and such threat was backed up by Obama.
All this was looking backward, not forward.
Legally, the Dims don’t have a leg to stand on.
But this will play out in the court of public opinion.

Boy, is the whistle blower trying to set up the President or what.
Accusing administration of changing then moving the transcripts, covering all the bases.
Forgot to talk about that the info they received 2nd hand was illegal, minor detail when trying to take down the very dangerous President, dangerous to those who have actually done illegal business.
