An abcess is an incapsulated infection It usually reacts to antibiotics (at one point I was on them profilacticly for two years.
My brain tumor is inherited and does not spread. It’s completely within the pituitary gland Otoh it causes havoc within the entire endocrine system. Thyroid, pancreas, female organs, adrenal gland etc all have issues. As long as it is fairly stable we just treat the issues it creates.
