I’ve been watching for over two and a half hours. He and the crew are certainly giving the press the gold medal tour. Then he answers questions like it’s just a normal press conference. Wish they appreciated his openness with all of them and started treating him with respect.

I missed this live .. but watched the tour video with the press Q&A. And what a Q&A it was ... it covered the wall, Mexico, the cities in California, the economy, the Middle East, even John Bolton --- and POTUS answered every question thoroughly, thoughtfully and with complete candor.

I watched and listened and felt happy and relieved that he is at the helm.

I, too, noticed the press was respectful when asking questions. Take the Acostas out of the equation, and it's really a different world.

When you are doing active construction, there is no substitute for walking the job site at least once a day.

Not only do you see what is going on, you can catch errors.

Also you meet the men and women doing the work, and you cultivate a relationship with them.

By doing that you encourage them to approach you with cost-saving ideas or approaches that were not contemplated.

Spent four years in a hardhat overseeing two large building sites, and enjoyed every minute of it. Real world experience you cannot learn from a book.

With every new mile of wall installed, the drug cartels and human smugglers have less area to cross over undetected.

They are being funneled into “catch” zones, making each BP person that much more effective.

I don’t like the Chinese thing a bit, but at least they paid their way and paid the medical bill, and went back to China. Unlike others, that come here, we have to pay their medical Bill’s and welfare for many years.

Sat on the edge of chair watching his delight at the walk thru. My dad helped supervise the building of our new school so we walked thru every night. Even that little experience taught me appreciation and love of building . I was the one that pointed out they were building the corner of building over our favorite spring (we actually drank out of the horse troff it spilled into at recess. Catastrophe waiting to happen.

And mom always seemed to have something being redone in our old farmhouse. Loved the two electricians who helped. They taught a ten year old lots about lots.

Later I converted my barn into home doing much of work my self Nothing is impossible with God.
He chose a carpenters family for a reason.
