Poland's freedom icon Lech Walesa on Thursday said the United States was "no longer the main global power" in political and moral leadership ahead of a visit by President Donald Trump.
Trump is due in Poland on Sunday for ceremonies marking 80 years since the outbreak of World War II.
"President Trump, I urge you to regain the position of world leader for the USA," Walesa said in an interview published in Thursday's edition of Poland's centrist Rzeczpospolita daily.
"The world needs the leadership of the USA. Moral and political leadership, not only economic and military leadership," added Walesa, a Nobel Peace laureate.

Only a fool actually believes that we still have an intact Constitution that protects individual rights.

I think Walesa was referring to the US under Obama, and he’s exactly right.

I read the comments as being similar to what President Trump has been saying himself - previous “leaders” have given away the farm and President Trump needs to rectify the whole thing by Making America Great Again...

I didn’t just dream it up myself. The allegations existed for decades, court cases and lawsuits, etc. He himself admitted to signing agreements with the secret police put or fear, but said he never acted on them. In 2016 the Polish INR came to the conclusion that he had acted on his agreement to collaborate, based on a multi-hundred page dossier documenting his work with the SB.
Where are the dossiers of his accusers?
Regaining moral leadership: Thousands of intercessors are trying. I’ve never seen so much grassroots prayer activity around the country for our president and our nation since my childhood (born near the end of WW2).

Am I wrong in seeing that Walesa is not criticizing Trump, but the sad, debauched, and fascist country the left has turned America into in rapid speed in over 50 years ?
He is right, America is a moral cesspool.
