As predicted by Jesus himself. The hatred of the world should not surprise us. Still the audacity is amazing.
Any network production dealing with Christianity is a must-miss for me. HBO now has one about a family of evangelists. I am skipping it.
FWIW; that scene with Jesus robbing the bank was a what-if daydream Jesus had. It didn’t really happen in the show. Still isn’t right but there is a difference.

Yes; this show is clearly anti-Christian but it isn’t anti-God per se. It even has the main character (the Preacher) with a God-like power to take away free will by simply using a different voice. Free will is what defines us as living sentient beings. This is a very dangerous superpower.
Preacher is an out of the box strange/weird/different story line. I wouldn’t think of it as anything more than off the wall entertainment with no foundation in reality.
We should never be surprised to find the world is evil.

Been watching it and find it fun...God has broad shoulders and His method of answering prayers proves it:
Sometimes He says “Yes”
Sometimes He says “No”
Sometimes He says “If you insist”
Won’t find God telling folks to rise up because of a cartoon or other such slur....
They need to go back to showing old movies.
