Today’s Cryptogram

KX FJZ NSM EZCAKAT NSWGKMR VKLP EJWTJMT, FJZ EPJZIO WSCCF LPTW JM LPT VSF PJWT. — FAJMMT GCKMQ.

From Arkansas Gazette

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.

You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: brain; cryptogram; puzzle; todayscryptogram
If you're just starting out on these, be patient, as you'll be proficient in no time.

If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hal’s Helper below:

You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.

Solution to our last puzzle:

ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST. WHAT YOU PLANT NOW, YOU WILL HARVEST LATER. OG MANDINO

Today’s CG Tip:

Frequently, a puzzle starts with this sequence “ABCADE” or “ABCADB” where the 1st and 4th positions are the same. Good time to think of words like “ALWAYS” and “PEOPLE”.

First two words, the two other short words, ripe fruit.

I got the first three words A S A I looked at the quote then the rest just filled in, except for the last letter of the last name. I knew how to SAY it, but couldn’t figure out that last letter. Had to look it up. Our neighbors own two houses here on our street, and sold one of them, the 3400 s.f. newer house, and it sold in 11 days. They have to wait till May to sell the other house. It is tiny, under 3000 s.f. So they will live in their HUGE travel home for almost a year. I will ask them about this quote in a few months.

They had packers, movers, come pack up ALL their furniture, that they had bought for the house they sold already, ALL brand new expensive stuff. They must be loaded. WITH DEBT! LOL We are much more frugal.

They are moving to Florida from Austin, where homes cost half as much there. But their property taxes are super high like here in Austin area. Ours are over $15K a year. On our LITTLE house we sold when we moved here, property tax was $6K a year.

But we don’t have state income tax! That would cost more!

Got ya beat! We just celebrated our 46th!

But congratulations! We are both part of a dying breed....

Our oldest son has been with his wife since 2000, married to her since 2007. I told him for a couple of years to ask her out. Once in college together, she asked him out! he he he

Our daughter, the middle child, has been with her husband, since 2004, married since 2010. He is a real loser/drunkard/bully. He is the one person on earth that you do not dare compare my husband too, he freaks out! LOL
They are going to have their third child in January, so she is pretty much stuck. He is the most appalling man-child. But he didn’t have a good example of what a man should be like. His father was a loser/drunkard/bully, too. I have lost track of how many divorces he has had.

Our youngest almost got married to a gal who seemed like an angel, she was the devil in disguise. Sadly, so.... She sure presents herself as quiet, shy, sweet. But she nearly destroyed him.

Your cryptograms sure do liven up and lighten up my day!

About camping? Just a little pop up trailer, it’s the fact we can actually camp together and not kill each other.
