Cindy McCain said in an interview broadcast Wednesday that when she listens to the political discourse of the hour she hears no voice of reason. McCain talked about the political legacy of her husband, the late Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain, in an interview with ABC News. McCain died Aug. 25, 2018 of a brain tumor. He was the GOPs presidential nominee in 2008.Describing todays Republicans as not the party of Abraham Lincoln
nor the party of Ronald Reagan, McCain said the political characteristic that most defined her husband bipartisanship is virtually absent from the American political dynamic today.

Go back to sleep, porky.
Romney is deeply offended.
Fantastic post. Perfect.
When somebody says “voice of reason”, run for your life!
They are about to try to con you.
Just what sort of bipartisan accomplishments did her late husband participate in? Arming ISIS is about the only one I can recall on short notice. Any others?
I survived Funeralthon 2018.
That wasn't bipartisanship, that was selling out to the Dems for nothing in return.
Or is that your daughter
The pill popper speaks.
You have Romney, The Traitor
REALLY. That was a disgraceful display of pomp. That WE paid for.
anybody else NOT care what Cindy has to say? I sure don’t. Go protect your pastry from your daughters.
Nobody cares about Cindy McCain. Nobody.
“Describing todays Republicans as ‘not the party of Abraham Lincoln nor the party of Ronald Reagan,’”
I have to laugh at the mention of Reagan in this quote. All you have to do is go back to a time like 1982 in the newspaper archives online and see all sorts of articles featuring all sorts of comments and remarks from GOPe types like David Gergen and other so called moderates and how they feared the far rightward direction that Reagan was supposedly taking the Republican party in at that time and how that was going to cost them dearly in the midterms of that year and even the WH in 1984. What utter bunk from these clowns and their useful idiotspeak for the media and even the Soviet Union back then.
These political "experts" are wrong more than the weather man. Trust your own eyes, and when our own eyes sees total losers running for the Dem nomination, it's just that, a bunch of losers. The media can run cover for creepy joe, but people are going to see what a lackluster confused old man he is.
Didn’t Cindy used to be someone’s daughter or something?
shrug
Gee that’s too bad.
Who here gives a dam?
The voice of reason in politics and economics is limited government, prohibition of initiation of force against the innocent, protection and preservation of natural rights as an absolute, and free market capitalism. It is not bipartisanship with and compromise with irrational and immoral principles.
Good to see this useful idiot still has a little tool-life left for the dems to exploit.
