Health authorities have uncovered an alarming surge in resistance to crucial HIV drugs.
Surveys by the World Health Organization (WHO) reveal that, in the past 4 years, 12 countries in Africa, Asia and the Americas have surpassed acceptable levels of drug resistance against two drugs that constitute the backbone of HIV treatment: efavirenz and nevirapine.
People living with HIV are routinely treated with a cocktail of drugs, known as antiretroviral therapy, but the virus can mutate into a resistant form.

Gay people don’t say about us ‘just live and let live’- they are attacking Christianity, Christians businesses- morality, the constitution and sacred marriage- spreading their diseases by having over a 1000 partners in their lifetime on average- many are pedophiles- they affect society by doing drugs and spreading their diseases- and ending up in expensive drug rehab which WE pay for— they are affecting your insurance costs by contracting diseases that cost millions of dollars to keep them alive- they are spreading their diseases to doctors and nurses-
They certainly don’t ‘live and let live’- they never have- and they are costing this country billions of dollars- an old report said it costs about $28 billion per year to treat all the aids victims each year- it’;s likely higher now- that’s more the wall would cost- but nope- we gotta spend that money on people who do NOT take care of themselves, live wildly, have 1000’s of partners per gay person in their lifetime- spreading the disease even further-
All of the sudden I’m glad that I’m the shy type. Its been a lonely ride for a long time. I dont think that I could mentally handle my physical life falling apart from the inside. freaks me out just to begin to think about it. I once read a stat that said something like 1/4 adults have genital herpes?
It should not be alarming.
LIFE, all life, wants to live, whether the highest order or the lowest, life wants to live, and it will adapt to do that if necessary.
Bugs (bacteria and viruses), with very short life spans, are very good and mutating and adapting to challenges.
Throw a bunch of human “cures” against them, and in few thousands of their generations, a mere few years in ours, they will develop new strategies to counter what we have thrown at them. Nothing at all mysterious about that.

There is ONLY one “cure” for HIV. And that is for humans to quit spreading it.
Until that happens to the point of wiping out HIV, it - HIV, will continue to adapt to the “cures” we throw at it.
It only takes a few of our years to equal thousands of generations of any bacteria or virus, and in thousands of generations it - a bacteria or virus - will have some survivors, and even if only a few at first, they will pass on the ability to survive, and slowly a large enough population of them will demonstrate what we call resistance to whatever we have thrown at them. It is no mystery.
