Remember the first time we saw Obama? He was speaking to a HUGE crowd. Come to find out, a free concert by a popular band, Earth Wind and Fire, or the like, was promoted. The crowd was gathered and out popped Barak like a ground hog at the smell of lettuce. The pre-arranged cameras whirred, the newspaper editors had already been told to set aside a portion of their front pages and were just waiting for the photos and texts to be sent to them.
Cable channels marched to their orders and BAM! Obama was a household name.
Ever see anyone discuss the busses that bring in the ‘protesters’ for the Antifa events? BLM gatherings?

I consider myself a fan of old movies and am trying to remember just one in which she played a major role.
While Midler is dumb as a box of rocks, I see no reason for the author or posters to this thread to disparage her talent.

She got started in the same NYC bathhouses as Barry Manilow. Out of the two, I’d rather listen to Manilow, and that’s not saying much.
I am amazed at how much liberals believe in “group-think” and decry individual thought and responsibility. This leads to:
1. All workers must be members of the labor union … anyone who doesn’t join is a traitor, even when the value of joining or the cost is not worth it to the individual member.
2. Every child must go to “public school” … individuals being taught in home schools is awful, even though we see home-schoolers far exceed in tests and spelling bees, etc.
3. And of course, every minority (Black, Hispanic, homosexual, feminist, illegal alien, etc.) must be a democrat, even when democrats are terrible at creating jobs and running cities.
And so, any sign of individuality by anyone in these groups is met with shock, distain, incredulity, mocking, profanity and hidden racism.
I love it when they expose exactly who they are!
