This is a serious question, but I can't get a serious answer. Where can I get a temporary tattoo ? One that lasts as long as I like, be it a day or the rest of my life.
It goes like this. One steps into a tattoo parlor. You get the tattoo, and the tattoo parlor gives you a dissolving solution when you leave to be used whenever you like, or not.
I cannot believe this has not been invented.
Your conclusion is correct, avoid PPD ‘black henna’ tattoos. But the problem isn’t technically a burn, it potentially causes allergic contact dermatitis, just like poison ivy or oak, and once sensitized you remain sensitized to that for life. It doesn’t sensitize as easily as poison ivy, few things do, but PPD is one of the most common sensitizers. If the liquid dye gets on the scalp when coloring hair it can sensitize folks but happily once it’s dry and has done its hair coloring task it no longer reacts. Or else the patients I’ve seen who became allergic to hair dyes would have had to shave their scalps to end their itchy rashes. Henna without PPD gives a shorter lasting ‘temporary tattoo.’ Henna, alone, on hair gives Lucille Ball colored hair. Lucy was naturally a blond as shown in her older movies. Allergic reactions to henna alone are possible, but fairly rare.
Talked to a guy today that said he knew a guy that had one cut off. Carried it in his wallet.
The henna on my hand is all but gone. I really liked it. Never get a black henna as its not plant based & people are more prone to allergies because of the dye.

Thank you for this excellent post of information.

Since I haven’t gotten an answer to my question, I must conclude that there isn’t such a thing as a temporary tattoo.
Yeah. I was thinking go ahead and cut off more skin and make it the wallet.
>> The Jerusalem Council did not refer to this practice as the Gospel and Holy Spirit went forth among the Gentiles.

Exactly. Christ accomplished/fulfilled it perfectly for all people for all time.
