Hunting for shiny, rainbow-coloured gemstones, miners found a different kind of treasure a wonderfully preserved fossil skeleton of an ancient sea monster.
The marine reptile lived 70 million years ago at the same time as the dinosaurs and was unearthed from a part of Alberta, Canada, that used to be underwater.
The skeleton of the fearsome predator has, rarely, been very well preserved, with only its flippers missing.

This member of the mosasaur family grew up to 50 feet. It starred in the "Jurassic World" movie.
The size of the mosasaur in the Jurassic Park film was greatly exaggerated.

No need to wait a couple of weeks - see creationscience.com - or maybe you have a better explanation why all the ‘ancient’ fossils still have C14 in them. While you’re at it please explain polystrate fossils too.

The limit on Tylosaurus is one per week, and they have to be at least 40 feet long to keep. So they should be okay.
Although being miners, it wouldn't surprise me if they used dynamite - that is strictly forbidden.
