President Donald Trump's administration has begun issuing massive fines to illegal immigrants who are refusing to leave the country, as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) prepares large-scale nationwide arrests and deportations.Illegal immigrants are being warned they will be fined nearly a half-million dollars for refusing to leave the U.S. after judges order their deportation.According to a Tuesday report by National Public Radio, Edith Espinal-Moreno, a Mexican illegal alien living in Ohio, has already received a fine of almost $498k for ignoring an October 2016 "removal order."

In many cases this is like fining a homeless, heroin-addict. I’d rather see them deported or detained in extremely uncomfortable detention centers with minimal sustenance for long periods of time. That would cull their “love” of U.S. public services and illegal employment.
K-mart here in New Mexico used to be the same way. The standing joke here used to be the first English the kids learned was “ attention K-mart shoppers “.

I also believe that churches that provide sanctuary to illegals with a deportation order are complicit and should be fined $500 a day and that the government should attach the church assets to satisfy the fine if they do not pay.
