May 2, 2019 (The Catholic Weekly) – We are living in a unique time in history. Never has politics been so polarised, never has mainstream society come so near to amorality (although Nero’s Rome came close), and never has it been so difficult for a woman to find a good man.
The latter is, I’ll admit, a bold claim but allow me to elaborate.
We constantly bemoan the state of society, the youth, universities, the media, et al, which seem to be collectively falling into ever deeper rabbit holes of noxious regressive ideas, behaviours and policies.
Religious affiliation and church attendance, especially among youth and men in particular, has never been lower. Pornography addiction is a scourge of epidemic proportions among men and even boys as young as 11. Put simply, the world is in a mess.
You’ve heard it all before.
Yet one important side-effect of all this that gets little attention is how tough this new environment has become for women, especially Christian women, to find good husbands. The situation is so dire there is now an emerging trend of women abandoning their faith and religious beliefs for the sake of romantic relationships.
Perhaps this is not considered a particularly serious issue when compared with Brexit, abortion on demand or the erosion of free speech, but I would contend it is every bit as important, if not more so. The future of our society depends on good, solid marriages, families and citizens. We need families to produce educated and informed young men and women who will continue fighting the good fight on all the issues confronting our society.
Yet for someone like me – a 32-year-old single Catholic – the situation looks bleak indeed.

Father’s, if you get your daughters to listen to you for just one thing, have it be this: start diligently looking for a good husband in your college years. You will never again meet such a wide selection of single men. Try to be married in your 20’s, preferably early 20’s.
Women who wait until after 30 tend to be disappointed.

The problem is that men who lack social skills are not found attractive by women.
If there is no attraction they don’t see the point—short term thinking but that is the way it is.

Huummm. my experience and observations say that marrying a 20 year old male is more likely to disappoint a woman. Better to wait and see if they grow up into men.

That’s your Job. Bring out the best in him. Bring forth a child and let him see the joys of family life.
It has always been so.
Men bring chaos. women bring civilization. It doesn’t work for all men—just most of them.
This has worked for my wife and I for over 57 years, and for 99.9% of our relatives still married to the same person, decades later.
The same rationale appears to have happened thousands of times as per our genealogy, with over 30,000 ancestors on both sides of our families, back to 20 + generations on some clans.

There ya go! Red pilled, then the above question pondered carefully, then MGTOW. Then, freedom. Freedom from emotional blackmail, shit tests and gifting. Then, happy like the merry widow. Loneliness? You have it backwards. Men create civilization to have a safe place to raise kids, IF they are motivated.
An environment where most men have given up on the possibility of having a stable wife and family, THAT is where chaos comes from.
The risk is half the fun...
