A freak hail storm struck Guadalajara yesterday, shocking residents and trapping vehicles in ice pellets up to two meters (almost 7 ft) deep.
Ive never seen such scenes in Guadalajara, said the state governor, Enrique Alfaro.
These are never-before-seen natural phenomenons, he said. Its incredible.
Photos show hail almost up to the hoods on trailer trucks. This trucker was lucky (see video below). The hail came up only to the top of the trucks fenders.

How come there was no hail damage on the trucks?
meng, dese are Mexican trucks.......no hail gonna dent us
More global warming.
Hail size was less than half an inch.
Truck bodies are fiberglass.
But, it didn’t seem to stop the hordes of invaders :(
Oh no, Guadalajara won’t do.
The actual hailstones were tiny, there were just a lot of them. Article said less than 4cm each.
Still you’d think there would be some dings on the hood.
Call me when it’s watermelon-sized hail.
I think I will be busy running for my bunker.
...and I’m never going back to my old school.
I don’t think I’ll ever get over Macho Grande...
But I did not think the girl, could be so cruel.... (da-da-da-da-daadadadat).. and I’m NEVER goin’ back to my old School...
bttt
Enough salt, lime, mix and tequila...that’d make one heck of a margarita.
Seems like this story has been posted about 5 times now, and each time the hail gets deeper...3 foot, 4 foot, 5 foot, 6 foot, now 7 feet...
Look at the video. This is a total farce. One side of the road is clear and one side is full of this white stuff; whatever it is. On other shots you see the streets clear behind the mound of this stuff. Someone is pulling a fast one. The road right next to the pile of white stuff is perfectly clear. Not even one tiny piece of this white stuff.
I call BS.
