You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.

The BWCB leads to the BUMM BF.
Once you get the BUMM BF, it’s over, all over, and you don’t want to do this anymore.
Hehe, nice :-) Easy to solve, because it was long enough.
About 2 and 1/2 min. Got the “e” right. Then the seventh word and “BWCB”. The rest of the letters fell like dominos.
2 1/2 to 3 min. False start when I put in the E and mis-guessed a “THE”.
E. then a word E_E_, then a contraction...
Love the author, btw.
Bra-ket and all that.
This one had everything: ABAC, ABCA, a three letter contraction, the seventh word....
About two minutes. Started with the contraction, the next word was obvious and the letters just fell into their designated spots
Sometimes one wishes one could ‘talk’ to Hal and override the having to select every letter.
If one could ‘talk’ to Hal -at least for me today - The result would have been finished before the sand knew which direction it was going to travel...
That’s a great quote, and kind of goes with yesterday’s quote, too.

Got the contraction then the rest just fell into place. Fun one! About 45 - 60 seconds. Actually only took that long cause I type so slow. I could tell what it was going to say way before I typed it all in.
