Everything is going smoothly on our end. All is in progress for hubby to leave at the beginning of August. I will join him in mid- to late September, after my six-month doctor’s visit. Over this past weekend, we volunteered to be foster parents to two first-graders this next year. Their families wish them to receive an education from a local school (I don’t know about their village’s specific school, but interior schools don’t always do a good job in teaching). The school which they will attend is a good quality Christian school with top-notch teachers. I knew there was a reason we contracted for a four-bedroom house!
In the meantime, while I wait to return overseas, a friend just gave me a gift of a conference. I get to attend Sing! 2019 Getty Music Conference in Nashville. I will meet up with friends from another part of the country and celebrate together. One thing I am looking forward to is a Sing-Along Messiah session. I have conducted it for many, many years overseas. It will be nice to be in the chorus. Also, I may pick up some pointers.

I’m glad, of course, that Qatar is purchasing those planes. Still, I will NOT ride on them. I do not ride on any airline owned by a mid-East country, nor do I fly a route over those countries. I want nothing to do with them. They are dangerous and not to be trusted.

Letting Jeffrey Epstein off the hook involved more than Alex Acosta. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales had to sign off on it and over at the FBI, Director Mueller and his #2 James Comey agreed to stop the FBI investigation and drop it. Schumer forgot to mention that.

The Rockies are still there and scenic as ever.
HOWEVER Friends don't let friends drive I-25 or I-70 through Colorado.
Particularly anywhere within 100 miles of Denver.

During this year’s Aspen Ideas Festival, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg explained that Facebook is increasingly trying to work with governments to determine what political speech it does and does not allow. Oh sorry, I mean: what kind of political ads it is willing to approve.
In the particular example Zuckerberg cited, in 2018, American pro-life groups wanted to run advertisements for Facebook users in Ireland. This is because the Irish were about to vote in a referendum on whether abortion should be legalized.
When Facebook saw the ad requests, the company contacted the Irish government asking whether this should or should not be allowed. “Their response at the time was, ‘we don’t currently have a law, so you need to make whatever decision you want to make.’”
In other words, Facebook could do as it pleased. There was no legal reason to disallow the ads. But what did Facebook do? You guessed it:
