The son of an alleged New York City mobster who was shot to death at a McDonald's drive-thru in the Bronx in October is accused of calling a hit on his own dad.
Sylvester Zottola, 71, an alleged Bonanno crime family associate, was found inside his vehicle riddled with gunshots just before 5 p.m. Thursday, according to police. His car was boxed in when a gunman opened fire, sources told The New York Post in the fall. He had reportedly just ordered a coffee when he was shot.
The murder came just months after his son survived an apparent hit. His son Salvatore Zottola survived a shooting in July 2018, as pictured in the image above.
Now, another one of Sylvester Zottolas sons is accused of being one of the men behind the fatal hit on his dad and one on his own brother.
Anthony Zottola Sr., 41, is among four people arrested last week on murder-for-hire charges in connection with both plots,(snip)
The affidavit calls last year's McDonald's drive-through shooting " the culminating event in a series of violent episodes in which he and his older son[...]were targeted over the course of a nearly year-long period."
It claims that Anthony hired Shelton, an alleged Bloods gang member, to kill both his brother and dad. "Shelton, in turn, enlisted, the help of other Bloods gang members, including Cummings, Lopez, Peterson, and Snipe to fulfill the contract."
The complaint shows Anthony and Shelton allegedly exchanging coded text messages between each other discussing hits under the guise of talking about a movie set.(snip)
I saw the actor today he looks ready to finish the scene, Anthony messaged Shelton two days before the attack, referring to his dad as an actor, according to the complaint.Hopefully everyone is ready tomorrow to wrap it up.

“I’d like to order a hit.”
“We have a special. It includes cannoli.”
Lol!
Do you want fries with that?
"Look what they did to my boy."
"What, they massacred him?"
"No, they sold him Big Macs and fries. The cholesterol killed him."
I’d send you a link to the cheapo press i use if i knew how to attach a link, but it’s just a burger press that make a pocket in the burger you can fill with anything you want, then you top it off with more meat and it makes a stuffed burger. DuckDuckGo it. I sear the outsides at a high temp and then pretty much bake them on the grill until the juices run clear. They come out medium well and are really friggin good.
Freepers like it when mobsters get the Zottola.
I saw this in the Travel Channel. The restaurant in Oakland was closed next time I was in the area, so I tried it myself: those bagged premise frozen burgers are best. 1. Thaw. 2. Grill until there is just color on both side, for flavor. Theyre still practically raw. 3 dip In milk 4 dredge in season flour 5 dip in egg 6 dredge in panko 7 deep fry until golden brown. At this point theyre still very rare. However theyre so well insulated that you can finish them in a 240 oven for up to half an hour. Truly the juiciest burger Ive ever had.

Hmm, I guess that's not real catsup.
Ahh, for the old days when mobsters died face down in a plate of spaghetti. Now, it has devolved into Bloods and McDonald’s.
Luca Brazi must be turning in his grave
As Gibbs would say its family.
False title.
The guy killed was not a “mob boss.”
He was an underling in the Bonano Family.
rofl!
You can’t be the boss until the current boss is six feet under.
I’m totally going to try that! Thanks!
McDonalds salad is the best with little iceburg lettuce.
Unsweetened tea, it is a quality meal.
No waitress to pester you.
