I'm in Zone 6 - Upstate NY. We had lotsa rain and little sun. This week finally looks good....and I'm setting out 6 more tomato plants.
Doing an experiment. Planting two rows (6 tomato plants) in a 4' x 5' plot. Planted 12 in a 4' x 20' plot. Want to see if the yield is effected by the space used.
Also picked up a Brix meter to test for sweetness.

Thanks for posting. We have had many rainy days here in Eastern MA, but which has enabled me to collect about 300 gals of rainwater in barrels, covered with
mosquito netting .

Tomatoes are starting to show they have settled in to grow, thank God, though some are struggling (where the rain comes off the roof and floods it).
Before (May 7, when it was unseasonably cool )

Now, by God's grace:

Southern Wisconsin.
I’ve got about half my garden planted. The other half is waiting until I finish building the trellises I need. I’m really hoping to finish soon, but keep running out of stamina.
But, the half that’s planted includes 3 of my cash crops, plus my tomatoes, squash, and melons.

Question - when your peonys are done blooming do you cut the seed heads, like dead heading rhodos? I’d like to just neaten them up.

We are experiencing the best Cherry crop in my memory! Thousands of Bing Cherries from one tree and no one to come pick them.

Rain, rain, and more rain here in Central Missouri over the past week. 3” on Saturday and another .5” on Sunday.
This would have been a good year to start a fish farm.
My garden is a wreck. I might get some tomatoes eventually. If they don’t drown.

Anyone here bother to prune their cucumbers or to clip off the Male cukes.
I have zero experience with this plant and have seen YouTube videos saying to clip the makes off and other videos saying to clip off the new shoot near the fruit and leag.
