Miss Marmelstein, you moved from our beloved NYC to Alabama?!

I can’t imagine a more drastic contrast between cultures!

Even my girlfriend’s move from Italian Bay Ridge to rural, redneck Oregon isn’t aigret as the leap from The Big Apple to ‘bama!

From Feast Of Santa Rosalia to BBQ at a juke joint, from Hamilton! on B’dway to Nutcracker Suite at the local high school and Gino’s to Cracker Barrel.

I’m amazed, how did this take place?
