a New York Times article mocking a new craze in San Franciscos tech heartland for bottles of untreated spring water sold by companies such as Live Water for $36.99. These start-ups extolled the benefits of drinking real water
within one lunar cycle of delivery.
However, not everyone was laughing. Some were taking notes. Drinking water is typically highly regulated, and the market for buying and selling untreated water remains small and anecdotal. But the website Findaspring.com shows that raw water has since become a global movement of people seeking out their own wild water sources. Eager users list and map thousands of natural wells and springs across the world for people to drink from.
Its got probiotic bacteria in there
Drinking raw water improves microbiome health. Hes also observed that drinking raw water as your primary hydration for a few days yields noticeably smoother skin.

Stopped along I-5 in Oregon somewhere and drank water coming off a mountain. It was ice cold and delicious.

lol..it’s not different! It’s just that morons that live in cities all their lives have no clue that wells exist. They think they’re holes in the ground with brick walls and a bucket above them.

Maybe. We just drove past the pump in Pratts Wayne Woods this evening. Picked up a couple of nice bass out of the big Lake there. Perhaps we should bring some bottles, print up some labels, and separate some suckers from their money.
Have to pay for our bait somehow.

50 years ago I drank exclusively spring water. I must admit my skin was a lot smoother then.
YES!
50 years ago my skin was smoother and fewer wrinkles!
Must have been the raw monsoon water I drank in RVN.

Actually, salts are not all the same. Different tastes, textures, additional minerals, etc. I use a couple different salts in the kitchen partly for my own culinary amusement. :-)

Why are people thirsty for ‘raw water’?
It has electrolytes and plants crave it.
Two thumbs up!!!
Very good.

Your friend's well has been checked for contamination. If there is any question they put a filter system in. It is also ground, not surface water. Surface water has all sorts of stuff in it. Like bird poop.
Anyone who drinks "raw" water anywhere is risking a bout with some very unpleasant microbes and parasites.

Why are there 50 different kinds of salt in the grocery?
A friend had a heart attack, afterward, he used pink Himalaya salt, recommended by his Physician.
The claim is to have more salt flavor for less volume used.
We keep it on the table because it looks interesting.
And something to talk about.

Drank and washed with water from a rusty iron pipe that came out of a hillside for years.
My granny's water was like that but, boy, it had a taste to it and it wasn't good. Wasn't the well as it serviced the barn lot and that water was good. Said it was the very old iron pipes under the house
Left a reddish stain on every bathtub, sink, facet, whatever it touched over time...
