LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. - Authorities arrested a man and are searching for another after they found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, body armor, and an "attack squirrel" during a search Monday.

The Limestone County Sheriff's Office said Ronnie Reynolds, 37, was arrested during the search. They added Mickey Paulk, 35, is wanted by investigators, after he allegedly fed a squirrel meth to keep it aggressive.

Investigators said they searched an apartment in the 21000-block of Piney Chapel Road around 8:30 a.m. Monday after they received tips about an "attack squirrel" being fed meth to keep it aggressive. They found meth, drug paraphernalia, body armor, ammunition, and the squirrel in a cage.

Animal Control officials were called to the apartment, and they, in turn, contacted officials with the Alabama Game and Fish Division of the Department of Conservation. Officials said they were told it's illegal to have a pet squirrel and they should release it, which deputies reportedly did successfully. Photo Gallery View Gallery (2 images)

Reynolds was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and loitering at a known drug house. He was taken to the Limestone County Jail and released on $4,000 bond.

Anyone with information on Paulk's whereabouts should contact the Limestone County Sheriff's Office at (256) 232-0111.

Deputies stated they were unable to safely test the squirrel for meth.

Squirrels may have different personalities, as people do.

Tes, I do think that animals have dofferent personalities. I observed a lot of them, that is why I concluded this.

But with all that, your friend should have made it up to the poor squirrel by giving it some walnuts afterwards by way of apologizing for the joke.

Does anybody remember the tiny dog’s drug frenzy in There’s Something About Mary with Cameron Diaz?

I’m sure he did. But that squirrel was ANGRY.

You know how a squirrel sounds when it’s up in tree and spies a cat on the ground? Magnify that about a hundred times ;-)

On a squirrel hunt we had one treed and set fire to the grass in the bottom of the tree to smoke it down. It came down alright, jumped my buddy right in the chest and gnawed its way across his arms and took off. A pissed off squirrel can do some damage! I'd hate to see one on meth fury!

OMG that was halarious.
I think my daughters are wondering that number to the nut house because of my uninterrupted laughing and couldn’t tell them what was so funny.
Over the years I’ve had a few mishaps on my bike, but my god man that was funny. I got hit with a pigeon going about 60 and it rang my bell, had to stop and quit shaking. Got stung a few times and laid it down once after hitting a flat beer can taking a corner, but I have never been attacked by a Scottish flying squirrel

I think a feral squirrel would probably be supremely pissed just at winding up stuck in somebody’s house.

Great story telling! I have to ask - is that something you wrote previously and had on your computer - or did you write it just now? Glad you survived!

The former residence in our newly bought home (well - 25 years ago now) used to feed the squirrels. About the second day in the house my wife steps out the front door. Instantly a squirrel races up her body and perches on my wife’s shoulders. She knocked it off and ran back in the house. Luckily that was the end of it.

My wife was leery for awhile after that, but it never happened again. I suppose that one event taught that squirrel, and a week with no free food taught all of the others.
