Just catching up on the thread. So I just read that the president has now delayed the deportations that were to begin Monday for two weeks, hoping the dems will come to deal. My goodness I wish he wouldn’t do this. They’ll come to the table faster if the deportations actually start, and as an added bonus you’ll get rid of some criminals from your country!

It is June 23rd, and the 4th of July recess for Congress is approaching fast.

They actually have less than two weeks to get something done.

Maybe a good week or ten days.

I felt the same way at first—I said “Aw,c’mon!”, but another ten days is not going to matter, and ICE will still be deporting people in the meantime.

Maybe more people will self deport also.

If I were Trump I would add that if you are on a removal list and we catch you—then you and your family are never going to be allowed to emigrate back into the US.

Self deportation would skyrocket.
