One session revealed this week involves Trisha Anderson, an FBI lawyer who signed off on the Carter Page warrants. She testified in August of 2018 on her role and what she knew regarding how the process went down.
In her testimony, she alleges that the application process for the FISA warrant was handled in an unusual fashion and that numerous Obama era FBI officials were involved at the highest levels in pushing it through.
But Anderson stressed in this particular case, Im drawing a distinction because my boss and my boss boss had already reviewed and approved this application. She emphasized this one was handled a little bit differently in that sense, in that it received very high-level review and approvals informal, oral approvals before it ever came to me for signature.
Normally, a FISA application would go to the legal department first to confirm that it is indeed proper to press forward with. In this case, top officials informally approved the application first, signaling to Anderson that her signature was just perfunctory.

And we will never see any of these discoveries on the mainstream media.
To me this supports my theory that Carter Page was a spy.
Carter Page was not a spy. He was an FBI asset that helped them catch actual Russian spies before Donald Trump ever made the announcement that he was running for president.
That is the official version. But notice a few things. First, who is Carter Page? Hes an Annapolis grad and a former Navy officer. He speaks fluent Russian. I cant help notice that he has the resume of a CIA Moscow station chief and interestingly enough he spent several years in Moscow. Then shortly after he returns home he coincidentally becomes involved in an FBI counterintelligence investigation. Then a year later he is caught up in a second unrelated counterintelligence investigation. Then just when Brennan needs someone inside the Trump campaign he gets himself into the Trump campaign. But even if he was a plant they are t going to expose him. If he were exposed it would put the lives of everyone he knew in Moscow at risk. Notice though that they did not lay a perjury trap for him like they did for everyone else.
I believe at that time, the press started asking the Trump campaign "Who are Trump's foreign relations policy experts?" Up to that point, the Trump campaign had not identified anyone with foreign relations expertise.
Very suspicious timing. Also, who recommended Carter Page to be hired?
Ed Cox vouched for Carter Page to Sam Clovis.
Thanks for the link!
But even if he was a plant they are t going to expose him.
Since Carter Page was the subject of the 4 FISA warrants how much more exposed could he possibly be?
The question is why they got the warrants. They werent trying to spy on Page. They were trying to spy on the people they hoped would call Page. Im a lawyer so I am aware that there is a rule of law that says if you have a warrant to tap the phone of the person who owns the phone then you dont need a warrant against the person who calls him in order to get the wiretap admitted as evidence. They were covering their bases so that if someone called Page then the evidence would be admissible. And that might also be the reason they were not concerned about whether the evidence they presented to the court was sufficient to support the warrant. They knew Page was not going to complain because he was one of them. Its interesting that Page has not been particularly upset that they wiretapped him. I would have a high power lawyer threatening to sue them.
The only point we agree on is that they were not interested in what Page said.
You seem to be unaware of the two hop rule.
The warrant permitted them to spy on (1 hop) anyone that spoke to Page and (2 hops) anyone that spoke to them. That was a huge net that included Trump, his organization, the entire RNC, etc.
Page HAS complained, many times and publicly. He has a lawsuit which has been put on hold (not by him). He continues to pursue it.

Ive seen him interviewed several times on tv where he was asked why he wasnt more angry about it. Hes always downplayed it. I suppose he could be an innocent victim but I dont think it is by any means apparent. Everything hes done or had done to him is something that could be explained either way and that in itself causes suspicion in my mind.
Even the trip to Moscow seems suspicious to me. He asked the Trump campaign whether they wanted to meet with anyone. That could have been an attempt to entrap. He followed thru with the trip even though they said no and told him that he should not represent that he was acting on behalf of the campaign. But that could have been more the FBIs attempt to test Steele or even to lay a foundation for the FISA warrant.
One thing I find interesting is the interaction between Halper and Page. Supposedly Halper asked Page to help him make contact with other campaign officials. He also met with Page in person. Yet there does not appear to be any effort to trap Page as he did with Papadopoulos. One thing is very interesting though. We know that Halper was a CIA informant. The CIA cant conduct operations on US soil. That is why the meeting between Papadopoulos and Halper happened overseas. But the interesting thing is that Halper met with Page on US soil. And that suggests that It was not part of an effort to monitor Page. Perhaps he was coordinating or planning a future operation with Page.
Remember when Nunes was going to release the FISA memo? Brennan went ballistic, accusing Trump of treason and claiming that he was going to endanger CIA assets in the field. Of course we know now that the info was totally benign. But why did Brennan go ballistic? Could have it been that he was afraid that Trump would accidentally unmask Page?
All of the circumstances you think demonstrate Pages innocence could just as easily be contrived to divert attention from his involvement, which might expose his cover. Certainly if he were a former CIA station chief in Moscow, then the CIA would want to keep that a secret. I suspect that well never know. They cant afford to let that slip.
IMHO you are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole...but hey, knock yourself out!
Maybe. But dont put it past these guys. The did wrong and they know it. They are desperate to cover this up and there must be a reason.
