MEXICAN POLITICIANS AND UNCLE SUCKER

The Mexican southern border with Guatemala and Belize is about 700 miles long compared with the Meexico/US border at 1,950 miles.

And much of their southern border is almost impenetrable.

So the cost of shutting down their southern border would probably be less than the business they will lose with the US in a month or two.

As for Mexicans crossing into the US - the Mexican government could stop most of that but they don’t want to.

The US is a pressure relief valve for their poor, their criminals, their uneducated and unemployed.

They just dump their problems on the US taxpayers and sit back to count their payoff money from the cartels.

And the 20 or 30 million illegal Mexicans in the USA send billions of dollars to their families back home relieving the Mexican government of even more responsibility to its own citizens.

Let US taxpayers foot the bill.

Imagine if those 20 or 30 million illegal Mexicans in the USA were back in Mexico, instead of sending billions back from the US every year to bolster their economy.

And imagine if they and their families were clamoring for Mexican politicians to provide jobs, government welfare, medical etc.

Much easier for them to cooperate with the US democrat party and let UNCLE SUCKER deal with the problem.

Presidents Trump and Macron could be seen engaging in several minutes of animated conversation, but it ended friendly, with Macron placing his hand on Trump's shoulder, and @POTUS offering a thumbs up.

..5h..A French military band gives Presidents Trump and Macron a salute as they and the First Ladies arrive at the Prefecture of Calvados in Caen, France. The leaders will hold of round of talks and have a working lunch.

.5h..At start of meeting in Caen with Pres Macron, @POTUS conceded that sometimes their relationship has not been so good, "but right now it's outstanding." He says they don't disagree on Iran. They both want to ensure that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons.

Asked about their animated conversation at the American Cemetery earlier, Pres Trump said they were discussing the D-Day invasion and how 92% of soldiers in the 1st wave ashore were killed. And it wasn't until the 6th wave that the troops got a foothold to take on Nazi forces.

Asked about the outlook in the UK for Brexit, Pres Trump said he thinks "it will all work out." But first, he said a new Prime Minister has to be chosen and take charge. He again lavished praise on The Queen, "who I think is an incredible lady," he said.

Asked about imposing additional tariffs on China, Pres Trump said he'll make that decision after the G20 Summit in Osaka at month's end. He said he'll be meeting with Chinese Pres Xi "and we’ll see what happens,"

.4h..Presidents Trump and Macron and First Ladies end their talks and lunch at the Prefecture of Calvados in Caen and head for the airport.

.3h..Pres gives press pool a thumbs up as he and the First Lady board Air Force One at Caen-Carpiquet Airport to depart France and return to Ireland.

..2h..A C-32A/757 serving as Air Force One today. It taxis into position after landing back at Shannon, Ireland after flight from Caen, France.

.2h..Pres and Mrs Trump step off Air Force One in Shannon, Ireland, and walk the short distance to board Marine One, for the flight to the Trump Golf Resort in Doonbeg, Ireland, where they'll again spend the night.

.2h..As Marine One taxis for takeoff, the VC-25/747 that most often serves as Air Force One can be seen in the distance. It will be used to fly the President back to DC at some point tomorrow, probably after a round of golf at his eponymous links.

Marine One and accompanying staff helicopters (Nighthawks), are wheels up from Shannon to Doonbeg, Ireland.

House Democrats Push Congressional Pay Raise, but Iowa Freshman Won’t Accept It

WASHINGTON—House Democratic leaders are apparently supporting a low-key move to give a $4,500 cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) to senators and representatives, but Rep. Cindy Axne (D-Iowa) announced a bill on June 5 that bars fatter paychecks until Congress reduces the federal deficit to zero.

In addition to preventing higher pay, the freshman representative’s “Clean Up Congress Act” would also require congressmen on official business to fly at the lowest available commercial rate, and permanently bans departing members from becoming lobbyists.

“My colleagues, over the past several days, have promoted a pay raise for congress-people, but as I look at this, I see a Congress that is dysfunctional,” Axne told reporters during a telephone conference call.

“And let me tell you, in these last five months, I’ve certainly seen many opportunities for us to clean up waste out here,” she said. “Until we get the dysfunction under control and our deficit under control and down to zero, then congresspeople don’t deserve a raise.”
