According to several eyewitness reports coming out of Benny Hinn’s “This Is Your Day” revival event Thursday, the faith healer and televangelist performed yet another miraculous healing, this time instantly and completely removing a large growth from an attendee’s purse.

Hinn reportedly paused during the service, sensing the Spirit’s call to interrupt his Bible-based teaching to walk into the crowd and speak with a woman in the third row.

“I sense… I sense you have swelling, somewhere… somewhere in your—your purse? It’s your purse, my dear lady, isn’t it?” Hinn intoned, squinting his eyes as he drew on his powerful connection with God’s Holy Spirit to help relieve this woman of her hindrance...

I’d call it “hitting pretty close to home.”

Nope, can't happen, Christ promised perfection overall and we've had that for 2,019 years......

No, He didn't and if you're referring to catholicsm then perfection for 2019 years???????????

That's the funniest thing I've heard in a LONG time. What the Bible calls sin, you call *perfection*?

Clearly you are working on a different set of morals than what God has established..

Real Catholics may have problems with the Pope in the same way they do with Trump...but in matters of faith and morals....he is infallible.....and you know that....former Catholic.

Like allowing cocaine fueled homosexual sex orgies at the Vatican?

Way to go......

Same here. He’d probably boost ratings chasing scantily-clad parishioners around the church with Yakety Sax playing on the pipe organ.

“Christ promised perfection overall and we’ve had that for 2,019 years.

Craziest statement I’ve seen on FR in years.

The Catholic Church, in its 2,019 year history, is the most errorless institution of ALL TIMES.....have there been bad people in that much time, you bet, but NONE of them damaged the Church itself....it is impossible and Christ said so.

Along came the "revolution" thousands of different believing, different actions, different clothing, whatever individuals decided that they knew better than Christ and the Apostles.....

The Catholic Church, as you well know, started with Christ on the Apostles......the "revolution sprang up in the 1600"s when Martin Luther disagreed with something........DUH....

you can NOT justify a handfull of people deciding,1,600 years after the face, that they have the answers.....they didn't

don't read FR much do you.....Christ promised an infallible Church and He has delivered that.......Infallible personage, not a chance.....when people fell away from the true church, they decided that they could make whatever rules regulations methods, clothing that they desired, had NOTHING to do with the establishment of Christianity....but, the Catholic Church has remained without error for 2,019 years.....so far.

CLAIM #1: "Christ promised an infallible Church and He has delivered that....

CLAIM #2: "the Catholic Church has remained without error for 2,019 years

..................

terycarl, please prove your two claims.

Demonstrate that the Catholic Church is infallible.

Demonstrate that the Catholic Church has remained without error.

This would involve supporting these assertions with evidence and facts that demonstrate that they are true statements.

Thanks.

innocence cannot be proven ...that's why a prosecutor must prove guilt..The Catholic Church has not erred, nor could it, in matters of faith and morals for 2,019 years.

The "revolution " pointed out what Luther was concerned about, but in no case was Catholicism involved in error....he was There have certainly been bad people within the church and still are, but they have NEVER erred theologically in the name of the Church.....just can't do it.

“The Catholic Church has not erred, nor could it, in matters of faith and morals for 2,019 years.”

You assert this claim of truth.

You do not show factually that it is true in any way.

It remains your opinion only.

Yes, but it remains simply an opinion - an assertion with not facts to support it.
