LUCAS COUNTY, OH-A traffic stop in Ohio yesterday led to the arrest of an illegal alien from the sanctuary of state of New Jersey. Ohio State Trooper Mitch Ross pulled over a vehicle for a routine traffic stop when he noticed a young girl with a man. Neither of them spoke English or had identification.
Luckily for the girl, Ohio is not a sanctuary state and the officer was able to determine the driver was an illegal alien. Ross was also able to determine that the child was in his police database as a missing person from New Jersey.
Police learned the girl was a sex slave and charged Juan Carlos Morales-Pedraza with the abduction and sexual assault of the young teenager. Morales was pulled over after he failed to obey the “Move Over” law.
“During the stop, OSHP says the officer noticed a young female riding with an older male,” Ohio State Highway Patrol said. “Police say it was also confirmed that the man had forced the girl to perform acts on him and that the girl was being taken to Chicago from New Jersey.”
Police in Ohio confirmed Morales was living in the U.S. illegally and was previously deported.

That’s funny. I do that anyway just out of common sense....and a desire to put some distance between myself and a large stationary roadside object. It’s a shame common sense has to be turned into a law for fools without common sense.
I’ve always done this out of common courtesy. I had no idea it was a law.

One thing I’ve noticed is that if one vehicle moves, drivers behind and in sight of that car will follow suit.
Closing on a car approaching a pulled over truck, it did not move over. I did. I then passed this car and while pulling away, moved over for a second vehicle stopped on the shoulder. The car I had passed, which had not pulled over before, moved over this time.
I’ve seen this quite often on interstates. Some times folks just need a reminder.
We have that law and it’s enforced, especially if you buzz one too close without slowing down.

No. This law means move to the left lane if there are emergency vehicles, work crews, etc on the right shoulder. Not always easy to do, but the law.
And yet Democrats claim to not understand why we would want to separate the adults from the children so that we can find out if the guy transporting three 13 year old girls is really their “Uncle Jose”.

While it’s important to leave an open lane for law enforcement working on the shoulder when possible, in my experience this law is being used a fund-raising device all over the country. You’ll see one cop car pulled over with lights flashing, then half a mile up the road another one which pulls over and tickets any driver who isn’t able to change lanes for the first one. In upstate NY it’s a $350 fine plus points on your license.
That's becoming a theme ... deportation is no use if the border is not secure.
1) Reduce speed to 15mph below the posted limit
or
2) Move to at least one lane away from the emergency vehicle while passing it.
IOW: If the cop has somebody stopped on the right shoulder you either remain in the right lane at Limit-15, or you get in the left lane. And speeders in the left lane can just suck it up if you're moving slower than they want. Too many cops, firemen, and EMT have been killed by idiots passing emergency scenes excessive speed.
Juan Carlos should have been “disappeared” with no paperwork involved.

Maybe anyone from New Jersey should be an illegal alien when they are out of New Jersey.
Lowering the age of consent is a top priority with Equal Rights and NAMBLA. (And we all know that lowering it to 16 won’t satisfy them.)
Dems you are for sex trafficking!! If you build the wall, sex trafficking would be reduced, but you don't care...you need ILLEGALS to help elect AntiAmericans. Build the Wall and close all borders...
