Star Wars Episode 9, The Rise of Skywalker, debuts in theaters this Christmas, but recent alleged leaks regarding the plot have appeared on the Internet, and I have been provided with information that, if true, leads me to believe this film could be the worst Star Wars movie of all time.
Thats a tall order after The Last Jedi, but let me tell you, if this information is true, The Rise of Skywalker is the lamest possible rise ever conceived, even worse than we imagined, a laughable bit of cinematic clickbait full of implication, signifying nothing.
Now, I cant say what Im going to discuss in this video is actually true, and some of this has been discussed on Reddit and Twitter already, but I wanted to present my take on all this, so Im going to present the information to you as is, in SpoilerVision, with the spoiler section highlighted in bright red.
I know many of your avoid spoilers understandably, but it is my opinion you should NOT fear these spoilers, and I make the case in the first part of this video as to why to want to hear these potential spoilers ahead of time, to protect yourself from pending disappointment, and to have a good laugh.
ST 5 was the absolute worst of the bunch and Generations after that.
Yes force sensitive people can do things in small or everyday ways but to fight someone somewhat experienced in the Dark side and beat them and move rocks around surprisingly even to herself is too much
By that time, Luke was training her. And Rey found and saved the journals of the whills in Ep 8.
Well Mark Hamill was very very clear about what the problems have been with these last two movies. Its not gonna change in this last one.
Hamill had problems with his character in Ep. 8, not 7.
Kathleen Kennedy doing what what every Woke SJW dreams of doing ... destroying part of American culture.
I think the worst of the bunch was the one with Tom Hardy playing a clone of Captain Picard. I didn’t care for that one too much.
His character didn’t even appear until the very end of 7. He was all but completely cut from the script.
Star Wars is feminist dreck. Bad guys are all men and led by men. Crazy people are all men. The ones who have it together, are tough, and are the good gals are all led by women. The hero is a woman.
Crap. Pure crap.
That’s because there was a deal Ep 7 was Ford, Ep 8 was Hamill and Ep 9 was Fisher. Carrie Fisher’s death kinda threw a wrench in the plan.
Padme Amidala wasn’t a hero. Her character was kinda tragic. Of course, it didn’t help that Natalie Portman was hired to act in the role.
Keira Knightley would have been better as the Queen and Portman as the decoy but Portman was a bigger star at the time.
Agree Star Wars is SJW dreck. So glad my kids are old enough now to see this garbage on their own. I’m off the hook.
Fisher died after 8 was filmed. So her death was not what messed up that movie. However, it may have messed up 9 quite badly since the rumor was she was supposed to be featured heavily in it.
8 was bad because the script was a mess and poorly executed. And Kathleen Kennedy feels the need to jam SJW stuff constantly down your throat.
My opinion, I think they made a mistake with these movies. I personally liked Rogue One and Solo quite a lot....Far more than these new trilogy movies. Disney could have done far better by doing spinoffs and side stories like those two and just let the Skywalker saga die at Episode 6. George Lucas had already left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth after the prequels.
Sounds that ways
I saw the first three is real historical time in the 70s
They were ok but I wasnt all hooked on it
The first one was unique which made it good
Im the same way on super heroes
Science fiction and superheroes which is 80% of film today
I prefer good non pc no gratuitous homosexuality drama which is rare admittedly
I regret theyve about given up westerns
I think Disney kinda had to do 7,8, and 9 after they bought them from GL.
No one would of bought tickets to see Rogue One and Solo if 7,8 and 9 were also going to be made.
What was wrong with 8 was Rian Johnson.
TPM sucked! AOTC and ROTS actually felt like SW.
Robot Chicken is the best thing that ever happened to Star Wars.
I’ve seen his interviews. He did had a problem with his character in 7.
What problem?
I had the same experience. Saw Ep. 7 on DVD after hearing for months about "ZOMG IT WAS AMAZING!!!" and Star Wars fans fawning over the "fact" that Disney had saved Star Wars and revived the franchise to its glory days of the late 70s/early 80s. Then I watched the ACTUAL film and it was a fun popcorn movie, but basically a pointless soulless cash grab for Disney. Have no desire to see future installments continue the "saga"
I had problems with his character in Ep. 7. The Star Wars fans screaming "NO SPOILERS!!!" and acting like the film was more secretive than Area 51 neglected to tell us the big "climatic" with Luke Skywalker's dramatic reveal amounted to a 20 second non-speaking cameo. I wonder how much Hamill got paid for that "role".
