Star Wars Episode 9, The Rise of Skywalker, debuts in theaters this Christmas, but recent alleged leaks regarding the plot have appeared on the Internet, and I have been provided with information that, if true, leads me to believe this film could be the worst Star Wars movie of all time.
Thats a tall order after The Last Jedi, but let me tell you, if this information is true, The Rise of Skywalker is the lamest possible rise ever conceived, even worse than we imagined, a laughable bit of cinematic clickbait full of implication, signifying nothing.
Now, I cant say what Im going to discuss in this video is actually true, and some of this has been discussed on Reddit and Twitter already, but I wanted to present my take on all this, so Im going to present the information to you as is, in SpoilerVision, with the spoiler section highlighted in bright red.
I know many of your avoid spoilers understandably, but it is my opinion you should NOT fear these spoilers, and I make the case in the first part of this video as to why to want to hear these potential spoilers ahead of time, to protect yourself from pending disappointment, and to have a good laugh.
after 7 my interest went from nostalgia to rubbernecking
Keep in mind that Lucasfilm FIRED its entire writing staff before A Force Awakens was made, and hired a Black leftist female, who hired ONLY female writers:
Kathleen Kennedy founded the group in 2012 when she succeeded George Lucas as president of Lucasfilm, putting Kiri Hart, a former film and TV writer, in charge of the unit. Ms. Harts first move was to make the story group entirely female, starting with Rayne Roberts and Carrie Beck. Both women had experience in film development but had also worked in other arenas Ms. Roberts in magazine publishing, and Ms. Beck with the Sundance Institute.
Hart and her "Force is Female" crew probably got mad that people liked Po for his masclinine qualities. So they destroyed his arc in The Last Jedi.
Poe Dameron was the only character in the movie who wasnt a lout, but he was relentlessly shamed for being more or less white and male by feminist tyrants in the film.
1.) Reys father...
Ive been convinced of this since the first time I saw Episode 7...
You mean when she inexplicably waits until 7/8 of the ships are destroyed before finally warping into the First Order ship? (ridiculous violation of SWU physics)
And used Ewan McGregor reprising the role of Obi-Wan as Force ghost like Sir Alec Guinness did in Episode 5.
In my book Rogue One is the best of all of the recent Star Wars movies. Its not a great movie much its much better in comparison
Ep. VIII’s problem was all Rian Johnson. But yet, KK has hired him to do some sort of trilogy in the SW universe. Big mistake.
I agree with Mark Hamill, Johnson got Luke Skywalker all wrong.
The first one, yes. "Into Darkness" however was one of the worst SF movies ever made
Rogue One was really good. And it was because Mads Mikkelsen was in it.
Got hooked on horror movies as a kid in the 50's. Back then, the monsters were in black and white, magnified ants, tarantulas, preying mantis, gila monsters. The Creature From the Black Lagoon movies were our favorites, along with actors Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Lon Chaney, Jr. We were Ray Harryhausen fans too. My youngest son lives in Indiana, and goes to the Indiana Comic Con, and other comic book conventions in the area when he can.
My oldest son is a tech geek, and a Fall Out series game fan. He makes creation kits/mods that people can use in the games, and uploads them to a site so they can download them. He also does live streaming with Fallout, Stalker, Sky Rim, etc., games once or twice a week...usually on the weekend. He doesn't own a game console, so all the mods he creates are for use on a PC. He taught himself, everything he knows. He didn't get his brains from me, that's for sure. His YouTube channel is Red Rocket TV.
Huge SW fan myself. Hence the name: Marajade Skywalker.
I dont think they will have her as Lukes daughter, theyve seem to abandon SW canon theories about parentage out the window
Ben was the son of Han and Leia. You never know.
Redoing Khan and the whole Spock dying to save the ship but in reverse with Kirk was enough for me to never see another current Star Trek movie ever again. The Wrath of Khan was the best Star Trek movie and to bastardized it was a bridge too far
Its too late. Disney already ruined the franchise they paid billions for with their insistence on injecting their woke politics into it.
I agree with you. Star Trek Discovery and the Marvel movies are having into the same problem.
Well take for example that Rey wasnt really trained by Luke in Ep7 and even before that she was fighting Kylo out of the blue and defeated him. Not knowing how she did it. Thats lame that everyone before needed training from a master and here comes this girl who does it automatically. This is the kind of stuff that irritates me about Abrams and Disneys cheap way out of everything SW
Rey used the force without knowing she was using it. Rey used it when she found ship parts that she traded for food in Ep. 7.
Like when Anakin discovered he was the first human who could pilot a pod and race them or fix things in Watto’s shop in Ep. 1.
And Disney has made back and plenty more than the 4 bil they paid GL for it.
I disagree. The third one was the one that wasn’t as good.
But Khan was fine.
