Star Wars Episode 9, The Rise of Skywalker, debuts in theaters this Christmas, but recent alleged leaks regarding the plot have appeared on the Internet, and I have been provided with information that, if true, leads me to believe this film could be the worst Star Wars movie of all time.
Thats a tall order after The Last Jedi, but let me tell you, if this information is true, The Rise of Skywalker is the lamest possible rise ever conceived, even worse than we imagined, a laughable bit of cinematic clickbait full of implication, signifying nothing.
Now, I cant say what Im going to discuss in this video is actually true, and some of this has been discussed on Reddit and Twitter already, but I wanted to present my take on all this, so Im going to present the information to you as is, in SpoilerVision, with the spoiler section highlighted in bright red.
I know many of your avoid spoilers understandably, but it is my opinion you should NOT fear these spoilers, and I make the case in the first part of this video as to why to want to hear these potential spoilers ahead of time, to protect yourself from pending disappointment, and to have a good laugh.
I pretend they only made two movies.
Click bait.
as 7 was to 4, 8 was to 5.
Um TPM was the worst of the eight so far.
Yes. The real title for 9 should be Star Wars 9: Please Clap for Mary Sue
The Last Jedi was the last Star Wars movie I will probably ever see. It was horrible. My two sons have been Star Wars fans since the first movie was released in 1977, but even they said The Last Jedi was a lame film. I didn’t see Solo, and don’t plan on seeing the next one either...even when it becomes available on DVD from Netflix.
I thought Solo was really good. Your loss.
That’s okay. I’m 71. Only watched the movies because we’d go as a family. I don’t really like science fiction movies/programs.
That’s okay.
I should have suggested skipping to 5:45 to get to the rumored spoilers in my original comment. Videos like this usually have several minutes of introduction to avoid getting taken down.
I didn’t want to listen to all 10 min. Will you freep mail me what spoilers he had. Thanks.
BTW, Netflix won’t have them available much longer and will never get Ep. IX.
Disney+ launches 11/12/19.
Yeah, that’s right too. My son told me about that. Same thing with Marvel movies, and whatever other Marvel productions Disney will make, since they bought Marvel Studios.
Disney+ will also have The Mandalorian which will be the first live action TV series set in the SW universe.
I follow SW. Don’t follow Marvel.
Solo is the only SW film Ive never seen. Your recommendation of it on several threads may motivate me to stream it tonight as a result...
I liked it. It felt like SW when I was watching it.
A simple franchise that one couldnt really mess up and they did messed it up!! Unbelievable
Simple changes and directions if I was in charge:
1 Rey is Lukes daughter, he hide her for fear of the First Order, they would be after her and he knew the Dark Side was never really wiped out. I accept that he became disillusion like the current movies state
2. Rey was at Lukes academy as a small girl (shes much younger than Ben)but Luke surpressed part of her memory using Jedi force to shield her from knowing the truth and did the same to Ben about her right before he was thinking of striking Ben down who he feared was really powerful as the current movies state
3. Luke actually fights Ben in person instead of a lame force presence. Thats what everyone really wanted to see in Episode 7. He defeated him but doesnt kill him for whatever reason as he sees good in Him and doesnt want to make the same mistake again, Ben escapes
4. Palpatine essence is still around but hes not in bodily form; hes been behind the rise of the first order...etc he not a force ghost like the Jedi but hes using droids and his essence to influence events
5. Lando should have been in the other movies much earlier than now
I wish they’d put Hayden Christensen’s ghost of Anakin in the film in the story somehow. I thought he was an excellent Anakin Skywalker.
Carrie Fishers unexpected death, production delays, reshooting, and Rian Johnsons SW7 script (written, re-written an then re-written again) made for a very uneven TLJ. That whole 40 minute sequence with Laura Dern shouldve been left on Disneys cutting room floor. Still as a true SW fanatic...
