Two things I remember about him. (1) He was on a never-ending rant about how the education system in cahoots with the medical community (mainly psychologists) were turning youngsters into zombies with all kinds of mood altering drugs. And (2) he once mentioned that his son sat at his kitchen table one evening and developed a marketing strategy for a soft drink he labeled “Rockstar”. Young Savage must be wealthy by now because I see that stuff in every dollar store and grocery store I go to.
Ever hear a talk jock by the name of Grease Man? He was another one like Savage but finally got thrown off the air for some alleged racial slur. More than once he was known to say that he had to be free of female control and so would eventually “leave ‘em weepin and seepin”!

I think we had the Grease Man off-and-on in the DC radio venue. I didn’t listen much; I was usually listening to WMAL.
(Sometimes ‘Savage’ comes across as a little self-aggrandizing, but he’s a smart man, and I usually think that his head is in the right place :-)
Yeah - some things bug me in life but not the ‘so trivial it takes a special sort of nit-picker to care even an iota” crap. Must make one unhappy to have such concerns as how Sean pronounces/says certain phrases when the meaning is still clear....has to suck to have such trivial crap bug one to the point the feel compelled to air it...I call that a subset of “snowflakism”.
OK - here’s my confession about what sort of thing bugs me....when a long-time member of a conservative activism forum has a penchant for sounding like the typical snowflake Dem, that bugs me - makes me wonder if the forum hasn’t been polluted by those too brainwashed to actually stand against the Left...that bothers me.
Another peeve is the number of FReepers who speak out against welfare leeches and then don’t donate anything to FR (or probably any other activist conservative cause)...that bothers me.
What doesn’t bother me is that some make an occasional spelling or punctuation error (although some are “Freudian” enough to make for a nice chuckle). What doesn’t bother me is that Sean says “unpeeling the/an onion”....or if someone says “penny cash” instead of “petty cash”....lots of folks have misheard things in their youth and adopted that version through life...if the meaning remains clear, I ain’t gonna get ulcers over it.
BTW - another trait of a snowflake is that when someone points out they are acting like a snowflake, they take umbrage....
No. That’s not the trait of a snowflake. Snowflakes are your lefties that get offended by everything and see racism and homophobiasm in everything and want to hide away. You sure took a lot if time out of your life to respond to something that you consider so trivial. I guess I bug you enough that you just couldn’t ignore me. It seems like you are the snowflake. There are enough other people that were interested in what I had to say. Go hide your head under a rock somewhere, snowflake.
I think that word you used - if it is a word to start with - should probably be spelled ‘homophobism’...
