A baseball field in Connecticut is in shambles after 25 gallons of gas were dumped on a wet infield and set on fire in order to dry it out.
The hope to dry out the infield before a Saturday Ridgefield High School baseball game resulted in flames shooting 15 feet into the air and an estimated $50,000 worth of damage.
Tarps now dot the field at Governor Park since Ridgefield was subsequently forced to hire a spill crew to spend most of Saturday and all of Sunday removing the contaminated soil.
It appears that about 15 to 20 parents took turns dumping the 25 gallons of gas on the field while more than a 100 people stood around and watched.

A hundred years ago a group of us from Fordham brought a quart of gasoline to burn an F into midfield of St. Johns FB field where the teams would play. We did so with the aid of two NYPD cops who thought the idea cool and they drove by distracting campus security. The flame was not great, quart didnt go far but there was a barely noticeable F burned in the field

Hillary carried Ridgefield (not a surprise). I can imagine a redneck doing this with gasoline, after consuming too much moonshine, but I cannot imagine needing 15 to 20 rednecks to pour out 5 cans of gasoline. When you combine stupid with sissy, you’re talking about the far left yuppies every time.
Imagine a collective group here and no one has any brains at all. Looks like all these people have very low IQ’s and have no business being parents.
Probably would have worked if they hadn’t of kept relieving themselves of all the beer they drank to come up with that brainstorm.
Ridgefield is a couple of towns down from me. Very pretentious place. Obviously many of the residents lack in common sense as well.
