Do you recall when Trump and Cruz had a private meeting during the 2016 campaign and that no one seemed to know what went on? I really thought that they had made some sort of mutual support agreement or a strategem that involved teamwork on their part. DJT is so great at bridge building and their relationship has been cordial.

I don’t recall very much about that. It seemed like there was a great deal of private negotiation that went on during and after the campaign with respect to the Prez. Same feeling about Sessions and the President. Nothing at the time is revealed, and weeks, months, years later we see big results.
