Today’s Cryptogram

M’V RK F BQFIOYQCMZ SMOZ. M OFZ OXOQHZNMKB JCZ BQFIOYQCMZW. LNM LNM QRSQMBCOP.

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles. Puzzle solvers love to hear if you found the CG challenging or easy.

You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

If you're just starting out on these, be patient, as you'll be proficient in no time.

Solving the puzzle under 8 minutes is good, under 6 very good, under 4 excellent and under 2 "you're a pro!"

Those of you looking for an added challenge can try to solve one sentence or even one word at a time, i.e. solve the entire first line, then go to the second line etc.

If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hal’s Helper below:

You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.

Now for coffee, it's finally ready. We've got an inch of snow and it's still falling.

Almost took as long to come back here and ‘report’ as it did to complete..

All I will say is the next to last two words in ENTIRE puzzle are NOT French for yes....

Five minutes. The first word was easy, which also gives the one letter word from process of elimination.

Obviously I am(Well not but I do recognize the names)....I said the letter for the ending (first name) was NOT French for yes...<: <: <:

I had already said it took longer getting back here than it did to complete the puzzle.

Guess my plain language just as ‘CRYPTIC’ as the pruzzle...HA HA

This one took about five hours to solve. Had me severely stumped. I had pigs, gas and bus as solved words LOL - had to take a nap. When the eighth word started materializing I was able to guess the rest.

Haha. I can understand now what you’re saying. I was thinking “Zsa Zsa” as in Gabor. Today’s CG is a little easier for the 3rd Sunday of Lent.
