I was wondering, when was it that liberals become society’s conscience, particularly in the United States? I have become acutely aware that liberals try to make me feel acutely guilty of not believing in their madness. It is unrelenting and it is completely ruining the kids.
What exactly is so right about gay marriage and transgenderism? I don’t see it. Where is the proof or even the scientific logic of global warming? It’s nowhere and the requisite guilt for the end of the world is supposed to be what I deserve. The world has truly gone mad.
And I forgot to mention, this is obviously a vanity.

But this is what you have when over 93% of the gynocentric libtard media self-admits to voting democrat.
The only ones who get to live and legislate their morals are libtard socialists. They work to criminalize any other person not a libtard trying to live their non-libtard values.
Since they found enough liberal judges who like making law from the bench and applying unequal protection under those laws.
I would say it was when the leftists of the 60s took the advice of Saul Alinsky and cut their hair, put on a suit and took over all the spots in America that had influence over us, like the media and the demoncrap party.

Our morality used to come from our Judeo-Christian upbringing and heritage. Remove prayer from schools and remove society from respecting the church and it leaves a morality vacuum that liberals were only too happy to fill.
What’s sad is that the church has eschewed their position of authority and replaced it with sensuality in many cases as they are plagued by adultery, homosexuality and pedophilia instead of the fear of God.
The beginning of wisdom is to fear God. There is none of that today.
Just a personal feeling but I’m going to say in the early seventies, maybe 71 or 72.
Not the 1950s or 1960s?
I seem to remember that the hippies in particular affirmed themselves as godless communists, living in communes to boot.
Don’t forget that while awarding themselves the role of moral arbiters and definers of what’s right and just, they also accuse our side of being judgmental and moralistic, and also of applying “black-and-white” thinking to the problems of life.

It’s my opinion that liberal conscience of the nation began as reaction to the Vietnam War. The left became the anti-war party. Around that time, leftists began their march on academe and locked it up, which means their views were what became canon, and their radicalized students carried their self-righteous condescension into the populace.
There was a big cultural shift in the early seventies. The libs had coerced nixon into a slew of enviro legislation we still deal with, no one ‘liked’ vietnam, tv was getting edgier, and women could smoke Virginia Slims and get lung cancer just like men did.
Actual liberals who want people to think and reason instead of simply knee-jerk their way though life are a good thing. The fascists who think they are liberals are the problem. The problem is not solid critical thinking skills but rather the lack thereof.
1. Homosexuality is wrong: In both its male and female forms.
2. Trangenderism (spelling?), unless it is resulting from a medically quantified condition is a Mental Illness.
3. You are not wrong.
As to when it started happening in the West.....
Perhaps when Christian parents wanted to give their children everything they did not have while they were growing up.
The flaw in that was major: Most of their children were not yet Christians and very easily became corrupted.
Then it became a battle of the Grandparents vs the Parents, with the Parents holding all the Aces. “My way, or you don’t see your grandchildren,” was most likely heard by a great very many Grandparents.
Then those Grandparents passed away and most likely left their monies to their children, who it turned out, were not Christians and were easily enslaved to the World and it’s Fleshly draws.
The Grandchildren, I’m sorry to say, probably didn’t stand a chance. With Non-Christian parents and most likely Non-Christians in their lives there were and are no stable guidelines to hang on to when the storms hit.
Sigh.
I realize that is a VERY broad stroke of the paint brush.
I don’t include the Non-Christians at the beginning of this mess as they have always been among the populations.
Those of us willing to be jeered at and mocked socially need to remember that He who went before us was laughed at and mocked.
Our biggest flaw is often we fail to lift the daily load.

I think during/after the Vietnam War was the rot finally beginning to show in the tree.
It may have started as far back as WWI. So many soldiers rejected God because they were given no answers to explain the Great War. Then there was the sexual freedom so many soldiers experienced overseas. Life is Life and it happened, despite the folks back home wanting to belief all their boys/men were chaste and honorable.
Are changed greatly at that time, going from accepting what was beautiful to various Isms. So many folks back then, were like folks today; not wanting to admit they were looking at trash, because they wanted to fit in with the current crowd.
I think your idea of Academia’s being the front point, though is an extremely good comment.
And to think, even today, there are folks who thinks going to College just to go and leaving monies to Colleges are a good thing. I realize there are some professions where College and further education are a must. For all others, though, they may as well stand in the street and throw their monies out hoping it does good.
