Known as Maarten, this colobus monkey was entered into the lonely hearts column in search of a Valentine's Day match by his keepers at Drusillas Park in East Sussex, SWNS reports.
The six-year-old primate has an empty adoption plaque (most of the other animals at the zoo have adopters) and his watchers are keen to get him in on the action.
"Obviously Maarten is loved by his keepers and visitors alike," head keeper Sophie Leadbitter said. "But it's heartbreaking for us to see his empty adoption plaque outside his enclosure every day. He is a gentle monkey who enjoys relaxing in the summer sun or enjoying a snooze on his back after a tasty meal."
A profile worthy of your favorite dating app, Leadbitter said Maarten "[h]as beautiful dark eyes and a bushy white tail and is a perfect animal to adopt fora loved one this Valentine's Day."
"Honest, bubbly and an all-round nice monkey, Maarten is looking for love in the form of an adoption," she added.

A giant gorilla with brooding good looks and rippling muscles is causing a stir at a Japanese zoo, with women flocking to check out the hunky pin-up.
Shabani, an 18-year-old silverback who tips the scales at around 180 kilograms (400 pounds), has become the star attraction at Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya, striking smouldering poses the movie model in "Zoolander" would be proud of.
"He often rests his chin on his hands and looks intently at you," zoo spokesman Takayuki Ishikawa told AFP on Friday.
"He is more buff than most gorillas and he's at his peak physically. We've seen a rise in the number of female visitors -- women say he's very good-looking."

Good lookin’ dude. (No Homo)
I resemble that remark ;o/
I laugh when I see an animal or inanimate object described as “sexy”! If a car, a cat, a lamp, etc is sexy to you, get your hormones checked! LOL!

“I hate Qantas”
Its the furry ears.
That really gets the ladies.
Thats why I never let the barber trim my ear hairs.
When I was in Aus back in ‘96, the local zoo said their biggest money maker was people who wanted to get photo taken with a Koala.
Not as cuddly as they might look.
Still it did make for a cool photo.
Drop Bears will kill you.
