Unearthed radio clips have revealed a number of sexist, misogynistic and perverted remarks by Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson.
The clips compiled and published Sunday by Media Matters For America were recorded back when Carlson was a regular commentator on the shock jock radio program 'Bubba the Love Sponge' between 2006 and 2011.
For about an hour each week, Carlson would call into the show and weigh in on current events, often sharing controversial opinions in vulgar terms.
On several occasions the conservative commentator defended underage marriage and statutory rape while making crude comments about minors exploring their sexuality.
He also frequently employed misogynistic language when talking about women, saying that they are 'extremely primitive' beings who 'just need to be quiet and kind of do what you’re told'.
He specifically called Britney Spears and Paris Hilton 'the biggest white whores in America' and said he wanted to give 'c***y' TV host Alexis Stewart, daughter of Martha Stewart, 'the spanking she so desperately needs'.

And BTW, Tucker was an employee of MSNBC when he made most of those comments, appearing on the air with Bubba the Love Sponge.

If you say it, you own it. But it’s true, and everyone knows it. What you said in the 90s does not have the same context as what you say or think today, and moreover what you said on a shock-jock’s radio show does not have the same context as what you say when you anchor a chair on a news and commentary TV show.
I respect women. I often feel like I do more than a lot of men that I talk to or have heard speak. However, I can promise you that I have said disrespectful things about women in the past where the context was humor or even for shock value, most particularly when discussing individual women and their actions. Who hasn’t. I’m very sure that more women speak ill of other women than men do, but I guess that is the only context that would be permitted, no?
We are not all at war, but you are right, they are definitely at war with us. You should not have any reasonable expectation that what Tucker Carlson said decades ago would be gone down the memory hole, and let’s be honest, they probably wouldn’t and don’t for left leaning pundits either. Are you to suggest that 4chan or reddit don’t dig? It kinda sux that if you put yourself out there, you’re a target, but that’s the nature of the beast. Not even a saint would be safe

I see no way out of this for him.
Maybe he has one shot though: if he says it was only one time, for show in another state, and doesn’t recall saying those things specifically, and also says that he would demand some voice recognition confirmations that it was him, and also say he’d like to have “conversations” about the issue so “we can all move forward”, then maybe he could survive.
Probably not though since that kind of strategy only works if you’re a Democrat caught using blackface 20+ years ago.
I remember leaving a thread on a liberal site once and said “I have to go do some old guy things.”
They started calling me a sexist because I said “guy things”. I wondered if any of them worked for CNN. Fortunately a rare conservative there pointed out that the word “old” preceded “guy” and it was clearly about my age, not my sex. But they had all been outed for what they were.

If broadcast and cable network news are super important to you and your life, maybe this is some sort of issue, but on the Left or on the Right I don’t understand why anyone watches ANY of the TV “news” personalities, and certainly can’t fathom why anyone who does watch takes any of them seriously.
EVERYONE has become tooooo enamored with TV personalities, either loving or hating them but either way taking all of them far too seriously. The net affect has been to give TV personalities far more importance in our political life than ANY of them deserve.
The Left is relentless, dirty, and aggressively attacking our way of life and anyone that defends it. The republicans are asleep and/or not helping our President by arguing over whether or not a record influx of drugs and illegals over our Southern border amounts to an emergency. We had better wake up, we are at war.
If he apologizes he’s dead meat.

Several months ago, Tucker was off his program for a week or so. Someone had accused him of ‘sexual assault’ or being ‘sexually inappropriate’, or something like it. Have you ever noticed he frequently says ‘I’, familiar with false accusations’ (paraphrased). I suspect he beat the charge because he was back on pretty quickly. The Left has attacked him before. They are relentless in trying to destroy Conservatives. This attack is just the most recent.
