My daughter is an audiologist, speech pathologist and geriatrics Doctor at the VA in WA State. A lot of the hearing aid companies have special programs/discounts that most doctors fail to mention to people because it’s too much paperwork and trouble. She helped my niece get hearing aides at 1/4 of the cost for her son who was 4 years old. He’s 6 now and finally starting to talk. She’s coming back to Chicagoland this May/June and will be working at the Hines VA Hospital here.

Thank you for posting NIKK. I’ve had a hard time keeping up with everything lately, been busy with family. Three of my four kids having life problems, nothing horrible, but you know what it’s like being a mom, always worry and try to help. I’ve almost given up on trying to keep up with Q, Q has been so busy lately. I try to keep up with the border and Venezuela, closer to home. Trying times we live in.

I can imagine. I was accused of that sometimes at work, but I wasn't hard of hearing, just focused on what I was doing and cipher the chatter out. I should have told them I was hard of hearing instead of telling them their chatter wasn't interesting. 😈

I haven’t read her recent books, but I found some of her earlier books entertaining. But I never liked watching her live or on video. She seemed to like making dramatic statements just for the attention it got. Like I have said before, I think she is all about the fame and the money.

I can understand, I had the opposite label. I was the smart girl, which comes with its own problems. I never could put together a file box. I always emphasize with young people that they have their own special talents and skills.
