Whatever. I drink Diet Coke every day and I’m fine.
If you want a Tab, you will have to buy something. :>)
The problem with beer and wine is they still contain sugars that have only been partly biodegraded using a man-made anaerobic process. Asking the human body to finish the process is more of a killer than drinking sodas.
My high blood sugar went away as soon as I stopped drinking Dr Pepper. Now I drink diet green tea instead of any other liquid, and have been doing it for maybe ten years. I have low blood pressure and staying hydrated helps. It’s easier to drink the green tea, with its anti-oxidant properties, than chug a lug water.
100% of the people who drink water in any quantity daily have or will die. Stop drinking water?

Noting that PDJT is said (rumored?) to drink Coca Cola (diet?) on a daily basis, doctors arguing that he evidently has the right DNA, please consider he following.
I know of a diabetic who actually needs a significant shot of sugar when experiencing a dizzy spell to avoid going into coma. Claimed that the only soda that did the trick was Coca Cola. Person well known by town medical emergency personnel.
What Happens One Hour After Drinking A Can Of Coke
A retrospective, “diet equivalent” study without controlled confounding factors is a hypothesis at best when based on associative findings. File it away as junk science. This is only a basis for “funding” further research, not for medical recommendations.
Yeah, good thing your cells don't use glucose. If they did, glucose would be able to be oxidized to yield CO2 and H2O which yields energy in the form of ATP, which is the only source of fuel for brain.
And who needs a brain when you believe sugar is toxic?
I don’t believe large quantities are refined sugars are toxic, I know they are.
Anything can be.. Water is toxic if you drink enough of it too quickly.
Your sarcasm shows your ignorance not mine.
My mom never used margarine, drank real coke, loved chocolate, used real sugar, used bacon fat to fry in, whole milk, loved lunch meats and always served meat centered meals. She lived until 93. Her sister did the same, but added one beer each night to the routine. The beer must have worked she lived to 97.
“You lost me at scotch. It tastes like somebody threw cigarette butts in my whiskey and then strained them out.”
Best description of scotch I’ve seen. Watched it being made on vid. Strained through embers of burning peat. YUK!!
I’ll stick to bourbon.
Your story reminds me. My Great Grandmother raised us pretty much, and she had for lunch EVERY DAY PB & Grape Jelly sandwich on wheat with a can of Pabst. Great Grandfather had been an employee for years of Pabst, so that’s why that brand. She lived to 98.
Typical garbage health/science reporting.
What the study actually found was a correlation between diet soda consumption and an increased risk of dying young (16% higher, which is basically nothing in terms of correlations). There could be any number of reasons why people who consume more diet soda could be correlated with a higher risk of dying early.
I've tried scotch. I wanted to like it. It seems like sophisticated people enjoy it. But alas, it failed the taste test.
Ill stick to bourbon.
#MeToo
My father has uncontrolled diabetes. All of his extremities are severely affected as well as sight and brain functions. He has an extremely sad life but it was his choice. That's what too much sugar can do.
You know what happens when insulin fails, don’t you?
Things are getting better! Back in the 60s,when diet drinks first can out,it was said that you if you drank 800 diet drinks daily for 20years you MIGHT get cancer. I am not making this up!
