Ok. I have completed the clearing of snow with no problems. Pacing allows me to shovel without getting winded. If I start to breath hard, I stop.

Yes! I had a couple of boys come 2 days ago and shoveled mine. Problem is it snowed again. Not many kids left who will do that though

This is why I will not give up my land line phone. I just heard this on Fox News.

I just heard a report where a little boy had to get on his bike and ride for help for his father who collapsed from diabetes. HE WAS NOT ABLE TO USE HIS DAD'S CELL PHONE TO CALL 911 AS HE DID NOT KNOW THE PASSWORD. Those who no longer have land lines better be sure someone knows how to call 911. First he went to the neighbors and no one was home. As it turns out his teacher saw him on his bike and was able to get help.

Never thought of that, a very good reason to keep, bet they get one now.

We have discussed giving ours up but keep for several reasons, tied to security system, if power were out for a length of time and can’t charge cell phone, can use the one old phone that is plugged in directly and I prefer talking on land line as I can hear better.
